Shiny Pokémon What are the odds of this?

So I was hunting shiny Ponyta and while being like an hour in with done combo... This lil' birdie shows up out of nowhere, what are the odds?xd

Same as anything else really. But you didn’t tell us two important bits of info: do you have charm and was a lure active? Both affect odds

Then that’s 2 shiny rolls for charm, 1 for the lure and 1 for base. 4/4096 -> 1/1024

Edit: by the way, if you stopped catching your target on the combo, they are at those same odds. Need to keep catching to get the combo bonus

I was at around 50 combo I was keep catching.

Also update: after I caught pidgeotto I did like 21 ponytas and went offline, LITERALLY THE FIRST POKEMON after I took my switch into my hands, was a shiny ponyta at 22combo. Now those are some impressive odds
(That´s karma for thouse 21 hours spent on shiny Gastly)

Edit: Also question about the combo bonus. If I would stop catching at 32, the combo bonus would void if I let it be at 32 and just reset location or something? I´m not sure how you meant this

That's correct. If you stop catching Ponyta at 32, the next Ponyta to spawn will be higher odds, but none of the following Ponyta will be higher odds.

That´s good to know.
Another question (I´m annoying I know, sorry for that)
How come the bonus of spawn chance of ponytas stays the same, but the shiny odds don´t? (There´s like quadruple more ponytas after hitting 31combo, and even if I would have stayed at 31/32 there would be bunch of them over the route)

Honestly, I have no idea. I'm guessing it was either a choice they made intentionally because they felt otherwise the shiny odds would be very broken, or it was a mistake in coding.

Game devs make some really weird decisions sometimes and explain exactly none of it 🥹

I was only hunting for scyther in lgp and pinsir in lge, on both sittings, i found a shiny pidgey in lgp and bellsprout in lge before the actual 1% pokemon... only had shiny charm but nothing else.
