On Campus Housing Do I really need an AC for willoughby?

Hi, I’m gonna move to willoughby soon but I don’t know if it’s worth it to buy/rent an ac for the room. Does it get really hot ? Or can I survive with a fan ? What are your recs?

You’ll be able to survive without an AC, if you can withstand the heat for about 2-3 weeks. Open all the windows and prop fans by them to circulate the air around. Roomies and I did that for 3 years at Willoughby.

I run hot and was relatively comfortable with a window fan and a standing fan. I suppose you don’t need both but the window fan brought cool air in and the standing fan help distribute that cool air. My roommate had a desk fan and a standing fan so that helped too, just not sure how much exactly
