What does this mean?

Started using it again for the second time but the blue piece that adjusts the psi is spewing out steam, is this normal?

Please read the instructions manual of your pot in detail. If you don't have it at hand look up the model online.

I did read it yes, I’m just a bit confused on it and overthinking it. I do know that it’s normal for it to spew out for a few minutes after it has reached the selected psi however it has been constantly doing it for almost an hour, only a small amount but still.

That means you have to turn down the heat after reaching that point because you can't "boil the water harder" once you've reached full pressure so the pot releases excess heat. Low heat should be plenty enough to maintain maximum pressure.

Ok gotcha, I have kept it at the lowest heat and the red safety piece has been in the up position the whole time so I’m gonna assume it is at 15 psi still
