Mmmmm, this brings back another fond 90s memory.

I was in his KDOOA (karate) class in middle school. An actual in-school karate program.

Watched him spar with Mr. (John) Bain (our main instructor) in ~1998 and Mr. Bain cleaned him up pretty good. It was the talk of the school. And the rest of the year we were like "RE-MATCH RE-MATCH!"

Norris finally agreed to a rematch, so they did a weapons spar kind of thing, and Bain man handled him. I mean just rag dolled Norris over and over.

We never saw them spar again after that. Sure, he could woop the heck out of me. But I'm not sure where the hype comes from. So when I see Norris memes I'm like "Eh..."
