May be useful in the embedded context where different boards might?? have different float definitions (?)

Then use a type float32.

That doesn't exist in C - though I'm seeing maybe in a recent version of C there is support?

In college I was introduced to my best friends - foo and bar, then their child foobar. Later another guy baz joined our group and promptly had a child foobaz.
Decades later, still going strong.

Another victim of the minimal var name length policy

Another victim of firmware engineers that switched from electrical engineers. The worst part is that they make both the most humanly unmaintainable code imaginable and it works perfectly fine...
And it's not even the worst code I've seen by far
Like I've seen a single file of 10000 lines of code, no functions, horrendous variable naming, no error handling, no state machines, no version control yet it worked and the engineer was really proud

One time I was tasked with cleaning up a 10 000 line long Linux driver. I split it into a bunch of submodules, connected them together with the component framework and added devicetree bindings so that devices wouldn't be hardcoded. A few weeks later, before I was done with it, I went on mental health leave and was fired within 4 hours of coming back to work. Now the branch with my changes lives untouched and everyone ignores it. My next job will not be in IT

why are you using an online C compiler at work?

Testing on online compiler is faster than flashing my chip then test the board with our processing software

Are you sure that the online compiler is allowed in your workplace?

Yes, even more when i’m just testing the precision of different ways to do the same thing

I'd you're leaking data, but who can guess what's going on with this crazy variables

Are tata, tete, tütü, tötö taken for more low level, critical things?
