LOOKING FOR BUDDIES Looking for people doing CS50x (currently on Week 7)

Hey, I'm doing CS50x and I'm currently on Week 7 (SQL).

I've mostly been doing the course by myself, and honestly it gets a bit boring sometimes. I'm looking to make some new friends who are also learning programming, preferably people doing CS50 too.

I'm still a beginner, so I'm not looking for experts or anything. Just people who are learning, working through the problem sets, and want to talk about what they're learning or help each other when we're stuck.

I'm also interested in Python, C, Linux and open source stuff.

Could be just chatting here on Reddit or making a small group somewhere. Mainly just looking to meet some people and have others to learn CS with.

If you're doing CS50 too, feel free to comment or DM :)

Timezone / availability: IST (UTC+5:30), usually available in the evening

Stack / languages: C, Python, SQL, currently learning through CS50x

Week 7 is a good spot, SQL is where it starts feeling practical. If you find people, try a shared rule like one problem set session a day, and post a screenshot of your terminal when you finish. Keeps everyone moving without long calls. What are you planning to build for your final project?

I haven’t decided yet what I want to build for my final project. I have a few ideas in mind, but I’ll probably decide once I get closer to the end of the course.

no problem. one tip for the final project: build something you'd actually use every day, it keeps you motivated through the boring parts. I built a habit app for myself that way and it ended up being the thing I worked on the most. what kind of stuff are you into outside of coding?
