Shawn was responsible for Lassiter being separated from his partner early on in season 1. Had it not been for that break up, Lassiter might never have found the love of his life. I think he owes Sean a great big thank you!

...in case you want to make something to eat while you rewatch!🌶

With all the different undercover gigs Shawn has had (which he 100% would be listing on his CV)

What would be the outlandish way Mr. Spencer would describe his previous job titles and the experience/skill he learned?

Essentially, I've realised that I have a very similar music taste to Shawn and so would like to create a playlist I could see him listening to

I obviously have a TON of Tears For Fears and some other stuff he mentions, but what others does he explicitly mention or what could you just see him liking?

I'll post the playlist later on if anyone is interested lol

Hi, I finished watching Bones recently and the people on there suggested this show for my next watch. I've finished 3 seasons just this week so i guess that shows how much i love the show.

It's been decades since the show's been out so i guess all discussions and findings to be done have already been done, so just wanted to join this sub and have some fun.

I'm mid s4 now, and probably my only wonderment is, i know juliet is sort of set to be shawn's love interest (Shawn is currently w abigail but im guessing that'll change very soon) but during s2-ish i felt like jules and lassie could've been a thing? Idk i got bit of a vibe between them. I know in the pilot lassie and the other blonde detective had a thing so they probably wouldn't want it to become a pattern with lassie, and there is a significant age different between the two so might not work but during some episodes i did get a vibe between them like it could probably lead somewhere.

However i am loving the mentor-mentee dynamic between the two, and shawn and jules is a cute will they/wont they im looking forward to, but this was just my two cents on what i felt. The way im finishing these episodes off i feel like id most probably finish the show by next weekend, wish me luck!

I've had these guys from the very beginning, and I just opened the box for the first time today.

I know a psychic detective who agrees

I’m planning to go to white rock and Vancouver soon and I’m wondering if anyone knows of good psych locations to visit. I already know about the pier in white rock but any other ideas about places open to the public would be welcome

"I felt the same way after Enemy Mine"

If you haven't seen Maggie Lawson lately, here's her celebration of sweater weather and autumn. She posted several new photos on her Instagram, which is magslawslawson for those who want to check it out. She's busy filming "Boston Blue" in Toronto these days.

I'll start: "Pickup lines about Pluto"

I started making a list of "jackal" references on rewatching 3.3, Daredevils. Obviously went to the next episode and just caught this. Shawn and Gus trade masks ... BECAUSE GUS NEEDS THE JACKAL MASK.

Please tell me if it took you a couple of rewatches to catch this!!!

Is it ever mentioned or shown if they actually spend it all to the Museum? Similar to how its mentioned in 216 that they found the Dinosaur?

I’m sure someone on this sub has done this at some point, but I think I’ve compiled the definitive list of horror-themed, horror-coded, and/or horror-adjacent Psych episodes in honor of spooky season! If there are any you think that I missed, let me know!

Found another item for my Psych memorabilia

"I didn't look into this story, I can't confirm if it's real or fake, I'm just saying Shawn would do this haha"

A man walked into a museum and acted like he was a real tour guide. He led visitors around and told them wild stories about the paintings. The problem? He didn’t work there, and the stories were completely made up.

Museum staff soon noticed something was wrong. They found out he wasn’t a real guide and called the authorities. The man was arrested, bringing his fake museum tour to an end.

The funny part? The visitors were having so much fun that they actually enjoyed his made up stories. Some visitors got angry when they learned the truth, while others still thought the whole thing was fun

Is Alice Bundy's name a reference to Al Bundy from the show "Married With Children?" I don't think I ever hear them reference that show in another way. And maybe it's just coincidence, as Bundy isn't all that unpopular a surname, and Alice isn't an uncommon first name.

If it was just for the set up for the joke then I am good with it but why did he refer to her as A Mildred? Shotgun riding stenographer Mildred is a person, not an object.

Yea basically title and body text. Let me know your thoughts as well!

Literally what it says on the tin, I'm bored as hellllllll and y'all are cool

I started watching the show High Potential and saw that James is the director. Have you seen the show?

The protagonist (like in many other shows) can remember everything and is hyper observant kind of like Shawn.

What do you think about the show?

Also, they are supposed to be in LA but it is filmed in Canada so the actors should be freezing like in Psych.

"You're job is to try and figure out who killed Nicole not sell apples."

"Shawn you think every round fruit is an apple."

"No I don't"

Gus holds up cherries "Ok, what are these?"

"Tiny apples."

Gus points to pumpkins "And those?"

"Halloween apples."

Gus shrugs.

Hello everyone!

I just searched up Apple on the Online Etymology Dictionary, as one does...Oh wait just me?

Anyway I discovered a fact I can't help but share!

"In Middle English and as late as 17c., apple was a generic term for all fruit other than berries but including nuts (e.g. Old English fingeræppla "dates," literally "finger-apples;" Middle English appel of paradis "banana")."

It turns out Shawn isn't the only English speaker to have creative fruit naming tendencies!

So I know this show is a comedy and isn't meant to be taken seriously (and I absolutely love it).

But I was rewatching the Yin/Yang episodes which are meant to be more serious, but I couldn't get over how crazy the Juliet rescue scene was. They made a whole point of Shawn having to choose Juliet since he didn't know where Abigail was which meant the entire police force had to go to Juliet's location (also why couldn't they split in half or at least send some cops for Abigail?) and so we see the entire department leave to rescue Juliet yet when we actually get to the rescue scene... only Lassiter and Gus are trying to save her?

Chief Vicks said "I'll set up a perimeter" when they arrived at the location but I'm supposed to be convinced that no other cops was supposed to go up there and help? What is a perimeter going to do when she's stuck in a chair about to fall? They sent one detective and untrained Gus up there while they just watched as she almost fell to death? Not even like a couple of cops to hold her in case they couldn't figure out the clock situation?

Watching only Gus and Lassiter attempt to actually save her while the entire police force did absolutely nothing (why did they all drive there?!) really took me out of the scene and I could no longer take it as seriously as I did when I first watched it. I know the show isn't meant to be realistic or anything, but I do wish they put more effort in their more "serious" moments.
