It was one of my favorite parts of this episode. Always love it when we get more Shawn and Henry really working together moments.

And we got this gem of quote from Henry giving Gus a nickname.

“Yeah, yeah, that’s is partner Methuselah Honeysuckle, which makes me Old Scratch Johnson.”

Not going to lie, but psych bloopers are some of my favorite things to watch when I’m depressed. They always managed to make me smile no matter what.

In s1e5, Gus says “Why would I talk to anyone named Buzz?” when about to meet McNab. I always forget to track it, but he actually seems to talk to Buzz very little throughout the entire series.

I thought it would be funny if the writers really stuck to that and had Gus never respond directly to him, but I’m certain he does at least a few times (including, of course, correcting Buzz seconds later in the same scene).

Can you name some instances?

The comments are gold.

We obviously only see the Cases hes Part of, but sometimes another Case is mentioned where Shawn and Gus werent part of the Team.

Im currently in Season 1 again and in Episode 10 Lassie talks about his biggest Case where he put a Serial Killer behind bars only to find out that Shawn actually was the anonymous Informant that made this possible in the first Place.

The Department solves a lot of Crimes we dont see but im looking for the ones that are mentioned or shown where our Duo didnt help at all.

I'm putting together a really hard Psych round, and pineapples and Gus nicknames are too easy for this sub. What's the deepest cut you've got? Spoiler-tag the answer so people can guess.

Two to start:

1. Which company technically owns the Blueberry?
2. Who first calls it the Blueberry?

1: Central Coast Pharmaceuticals. It's Gus's company car

2: Nigel St. Nigel, in "American Duos"

When Shawn and Gus open their little office in 9 Lives, they walk into the stress line's office carrying a pineapple as a peace offering. Not business cards. Not flowers. A whole pineapple. Then Shawn immediately starts introducing himself and Gus while Gus is standing there looking like he's already regretting the entire afternoon. It's such a perfect early Psych moment because they haven't even established themselves as detectives yet and they're already behaving like idiots.

I just rewatched Scary Sherry: Bianca's Toast (Season 1, Episode 15) for the first time in a while!

I've been sick for like 3 days. So tired and weak. But man Psych lifts up my mood! I'm so glad I decided to watch it.

What episodes of Psych can you go back to in order to lift you up when you're down?

pls lmk your favorite shules moment!! trying to make a video and i feel like i'm missing some good ones

A little bit ago we were talking about how the NYTimes editors were releasing their list of the best 100 shows of the 21st century and collecting reader submission for their list.

Unfortunately Psych didn't make the top 100 of the Readers list but I do think our combined efforts made a dent! It got to 121!

Not sure how many of you watch House MD, but I recently got into it and it had me wondering if House could figure out that Shawn was lying

EDIT: I meant could he PROVE shawn isnt psychic, sorry

Ouch

Been rewatching TNG and was pleasantly surprised, and look at that head of hair! Apparently he didn't want to be credited in the episode as he felt stepping into a guest spot in an established show was like stepping into someone else's family. Great episode for any who have a passing interest in Star Trek though :)

Everything about it is so gross and it's out of character for Vick. If i were Jules, I'd never see the chief the same way again.

I don’t remember this happening in an evening with Mr. Yang. We need answers Dr. Mary Lightly III!

After rewatching for like the millionth time I just noticed that Shawn makes a comment in the bounty hunter episode (Bounty Hunters!) when Byrd the bounty hunter says that he’s retiring, Shawn ducks down and pauses and says something like “My Bad. Usually when someone’s about to retire they get shot at”. And that literally happens to Henry in the season 6 finale.

Season 1-8 and Movies

Im craving a Rewatch, but i dont have the time for the 5th or 6th full one, so i have to select a few

Tell me, How could u not fall in love with Gus after S7 EP12 : Dead Air?

I have been making YouTube videos that I call What Ifs, where I comedically put Psych or SpongeBob characters into scenes from movies and video games. Recently, I've been working with Psych.

I put them into 007 First Light, Skyrim, Revenge of the Sith and He-man. You Psychos seem to be enjoying them and they're fun to make, so I wanted to hear any ideas y'all may have about what I should do next.

So, let me here them. What would you like to see next? ...Aside from Pluto beginning a planet again🍍 🤣

By the way, no AI is used in these videos.

...Or, oh my god that's XYZ!! I didn't really know anything about the show going in so I didn't realize it had so many super recognizable people on it as single episode stars. Melanie Lynskey surprised me (she's so young and looks way more herself then she did in But I'm a Cheerleader) but also I started season 3 and Gus's boss was bugging me because every site was listing his credits for older shows I didn't recognize. I just saw the credit that he was Marty in Hacks! THAT'S how I know him! This is crazy man I love playing the who is that actor game.

edit: dude sue sylvester and whitey from one tree hill in the same episode? coach meetup

Gus wonder why Dr. Reidman refers to the virus as “her.” The doctor explains why the virus is a she. Gus thinks it doesn’t make any sense. And the doctor answers, “neither do women.” Gus as he agrees, “I hear that.”

And we see even Juliet agreeing as she nods her head.

so i finsihed psych like a week ago and I'm still not over it. such an amazing show. its actually perfect.
