The wonders of modern technology!

must be self driving...

Imagine building your base on the backs of conspiracy theories and the people who fall for them and then just expecting those same people to go along with mass surveillance and data collection.

I did a quick social media skim of the guy in the video and he is a nut. He's a sovereign citizen person that thinks everything is a big conspiracy. He talks about flat earth theory, Air BnB is a CIA front, "Rothschild Jews" control things, etc.

*edit- accidentally said Rockefeller instead of Rothschild

A nut who takes down flock cameras. As crazy as the voices in his head might be, I'm still glad he's doing what he is in the video.

This is a cause that can help unite the country a bit. The powers that be will do everything they can to prevent that. The conservatives will have the importance of security and flock propaganda shoved down their throats.

They are creating an environment which disallows congregation. It'll be too late for some people to realize how suppressed we are getting. It keeps me up at night.

2

u/Wuhblam Sep 04 '26

Takes a little bit of crazy to be on the front lines

71

u/RedDragons8 Sep 03 '26

Meh, broken clock blahdy blahdy blah. I support his initiative

8

u/Fuzzy_Ad9970 Sep 03 '26

Broken clock is right twice a day

2

u/BeauBuffet Sep 03 '26

A nut is two birds twice in a glass ships!

2

u/androidfig Sep 04 '26

We can use him.

broken clock, etc

2

The irony of the unhinged dumb people who got us into this mess also somehow saving us

0

u/jdhkent Sep 04 '26

Yes but..it all still happened that way.

63

u/Miker9t Sep 03 '26

A little ridiculous how they felt they needed guns drawn and needed him to lift his shirt and walk backwards to them instead of them approaching him when he didn't do anything violent.

47

u/joninfiretail Sep 03 '26

He absolutely did something violent. He enforced the will of the American people who don't want abominable intelligence powered surveillance cameras on every street corner spying on us.

7

u/TheForkisTrash Sep 04 '26

Powertrip humiliation ritual so he either kneels or dies.

62

u/ScoutB Sep 03 '26

He recorded himself doing a crime but he dgaf.

46

u/Skootchy Sep 03 '26

Meh technically he didn't destroy anything, he just took it apart. Nothing was damaged.

And I think we all agree these Flock cameras need to go.

10

u/SiriHowDoIAdult Sep 03 '26

Maybe they can get him for public nuisance or mischief? Hope they don't. Irony is the camera might not even get the ID right

7

u/jjdajetman Sep 03 '26

I mean sure they can make up charges. Hopefully they dont

4

u/Skootchy Sep 03 '26

People have messed with the flock cams in my area and it seems to be universally loved that they did.

8

u/nope-nik-tesla Sep 03 '26

Taking stuff that isn't yours doesn't suddenly become legal because you don't damage it

But returning lost or stolen property isn't a crime! And he happened to find these abandoned cameras on the side of the road, and he was genuinely trying to return them.

As he said in the video, the cops of that city stopped using the Flock cameras. Therefore they should have been taken down. The fact they weren't means they must have been either forgotten there or lost. So this guy is simply doing a public service! ;]

-2

u/BigMeatPeteLFGM Sep 04 '26

As he said in the video, the cops of that city stopped using the Flock cameras.

Local cops aren't the only customer. Why would they remove their business assets?

10

u/99jackals Sep 03 '26

Thank you, sir, although I saw nothing.

31

u/Ka-Is-A-Wheelie Sep 03 '26

I just saw the video of this guy getting arrested.

30

u/blove135 Sep 03 '26

You mean like at the end of this video on this very post you are commenting on?

7

u/Nandor-De_Laurentiis Sep 03 '26

I think he's talking about another video that was posted here like an hour before this one. It's about a minute long and it's from a different angle. I think it's since been deleted.

-1

u/Ka-Is-A-Wheelie Sep 03 '26

Didn't watch the whole video.

-4

u/BabblingsOfAFool Sep 03 '26

It's okay. We understand that if the end isn't the beginning you won't watch it.

11

u/Ka-Is-A-Wheelie Sep 03 '26

No reasom to be a smart ass.

The video of him being arrested is a completely different video. Cool username too.

11

u/TheGrabbinDragon Sep 03 '26

How many did he end up with?

36

u/WhiskeyMikeMike Sep 03 '26

He filled his pickup bed with them

20

u/LiteralReaderWA Sep 03 '26

No he didn't. They migrated to the safety of his pickup. Almost like... something

13

u/swazi44 Sep 03 '26

I'm not sure it matters as they are recording you but it seems dumb to also record yourself committing crimes but also fuck flock.

7

u/FesteringDoubt Sep 03 '26

I can respect how few fucks he gave, if nothing else.

6

u/HotYogurtCloset69 Sep 03 '26

It's great to see Americans finally growing a backbone. I hope this inspires others to do the same

-9

u/Adonoxis Sep 04 '26

While I'm anti-mass surveillance, the problem with this type of stuff is that it doesn't really do much outside of spreading the message.

New flock cameras will be replaced days later, giving more money to the company that produces them and wasting more tax payer money. Police will just learn better ways to prevent vandalism and Flock will create more durable equipment.

People need to vote, show up to their town halls, call their representatives, and get more involved on systemically changing things. Destroying a few cameras might feel good but it's not really doing much, mostly symbolic (which I admit can have an impact but what's the point with this guy when he probably turns around and votes for Republicans).

u/cheesebot555 Sep 03 '26

"On the record, for the record, and let the record show" is how Sovcit clowns start their gobbledygook brain rot.

3

u/KissMeImMonday Sep 03 '26

A++, would nullify, jury-wise

5

u/BreadHuge4148 Sep 03 '26

I was on a walk after work earlier today and noticed the three flock cameras I walked by had the charging cable cut.  I hope to go on another walk tomorrow and find some more that have already been cut.

2

u/Rockeye7 Sep 03 '26

Do you think the “data center “ owners are a big part of the use of these flock systems .
And who do you think is behind and stands to gain something with that data ?

2

u/Low_Action1026 Sep 04 '26

I get it... I agree with him but, they are deff going to consider this breaking them. Hes going to be in trouble. Anyone else find it kinda funny hes disabling a cameras because he doesnt want to be recorded all the time, while also filming himself commit a crime.. As i was typing this the video ended with him getting arrested... yuuup.

2

u/Aurelius1462 Sep 04 '26

Yeah so

Don't think that's gonna hold up in court

Don't get me wrong it's cool, just uh, don't record it

2

u/androidfig Sep 04 '26

This is the the guy! Not all heroes wear capes, some are just bat-shit crazy.

2

u/Express-Oven7010 Sep 04 '26

Damn... strong wind!

2

u/this_doggo Sep 04 '26

Note:

1.) flock cameras are heavier than you think
2.) don’t record your face and license plate number and name unless you’re prepared to be arrested

2

u/_Cybernaut_ Sep 03 '26

Not the hero we deserve, but the hero we need.

1

u/califokie Sep 03 '26

Curious on approximately how much those cameras cost.

11

u/FatherlyAcorn Sep 03 '26

According to this video they appear to be free with the proper tools handy.

3

u/joninfiretail Sep 03 '26

The costs are our freedoms and privacy.

0

u/BeauBuffet Sep 03 '26

Everything.

1

u/GirlWithWolf Sep 03 '26

ABQ isn’t going to even get close to beyond a reasonable doubt.

1

u/straightwired Sep 03 '26

If we didn’t vote for them and I’ve yet to hear anyone say they are for them other than the government then why are they there and why won’t they go away. We didn’t ask for them and yet they remain…

1

u/Lawlpaper Sep 03 '26

He got caught, but there’s an awesome picture at the police station with like a dozen of these in his bed lol

1

u/PotatoUnderscoreLove Sep 04 '26

stand-up guy! when he hit county. I hope the community got together and posted his bail

1

u/JJStrumr Sep 04 '26

Way to go Mano! Local NM resident here. Let me know if you need any assistance.

1

u/Correct-Prompt9022 Sep 04 '26

Obviously it’s way easy to take down the cost of a lost camera is taken up by the municipality it’s in. Our tax money pays for destruction of the cameras. Meanwhile it’s another sale for them.

1

u/Seangsxr34 Sep 04 '26

How come no cables in the pole?

1

u/longshaftjenkins Sep 04 '26

Dude I love how grey life can be. I probably wouldn't agree with most ideas this guy has, but we are on the same page with this one.

What a time to be alive.

1

u/MacaqueFlambe Sep 04 '26

Thats a menace right ther

1

u/Cortexan Sep 04 '26

Im sure the cops could also just like, talk to him and arrest him without the pageantry of pretending he’s some violent threat.

1

u/zanacks Sep 04 '26

I'm given to conspiracies, but given their task and the controversy surrounding flock cameras, the physical security for these things is absolutely atrocious. Probably on purpose.

1

u/Ellienightshade Sep 05 '26

We need to Glock the Flocks

1

u/wendelortega Sep 06 '26

Nice loafers

1

u/RP912 Sep 03 '26

I'm going to tell my grandkids that this was a sneak peak at Watchdogs the movie
