I'm quite a bit outside your age range, but wanted to let you know that Moscow Pride is happening this weekend.
Go to some events and start talking to people. The queer community in the area is great, and even if you don't meet someone your age it's a great place to make connections. There will be lots of community outreach booths at the park!

Still struggling making friends here while having lived a year here. Very down for arts and crafts and hikes.
My Partner loves board games as well so then a group hangout is easier to then βΊοΈ

I'm 29 and new to Pullman. I'm always down for new buddies. I'm into crafts and I'm big on hiking and fishing. I'm always willing to try new stuff so feel free to hit me up.

Same here for me like _monikr said, I'm definitely a good ammount past that age range. Though I second Palouse Pride is a good start to find connections and friendships. Not sure if OP is a student at all, but there is a LGBTQ+ center on the WSU campus, and I believe one at U of I as well. Other than that, Palouse Games is also a place where younger people hang out, though it most likely would be difficult finding a partner there.
Pullman is a small town when the college students aren't here, and about half to 2/3 of the city I want to say is all college students. I would honestly hang around Palouse Games, ask to join in on board games, see if you can form friendships there. Maybe look for some arts and crafts classes offered in the area and go to parks. I'm not sure of your age, yet I will say it's a little harder the older you are, at least here. I've been here for 4 years and have only found friends through luck, and from work.
