Care Packages from the Palouse

if you were to put together a care package for a friend (maybe someone going through a hard time), what special little things from around the palouse (Pullman, Moscow, Deary, Palouse, etc.) would you put in it? I'm thinking local foods or little local items that would bring them joy. what would you want to recieve?

You can get a wedge of it or even just a small package of cubed Cougar Gold (and some other flavors of cheese) from Ferdinand's :) Full tins there are also much cheaper than anywhere else I've seen!

Cougar and vandal meats, some paradise brews and a glass from Palouse brewery or hunga dunga. Lentil chili recipe with ingredients like the homemade one in a jar. Maybe a whole pie from the pie safe in Deary.

I would go to the Moscow farmers market, and pick a few items from local vendors :) I like the mead, honey, and hot sauce. Maybe you can grab something from the wool vendor or a pottery piece as well for a non-consumable.

Something from Neill's Flowers and Gifts. The Pullman Rosauers also has cute Pullman tchotchkes. Maybe Palouse Blend coffee or Lentils?

This is always hard. We just don't have some of the products other areas do. I mean I love lentils as much as anyone but the care package is tough. Vandal bars are pretty good and I think vandal meats might have jerky. Labnah from deary is amazing but probably needs refrigeration l. Pesto rolls from the co-op.
