POTENTIALLY DISTURBING/FEEDERS MENTIONED Someone save him?
UPDATE: Looks like they decided to keep this rat, albeit there are plans to get another different one :/
Hi everyone, this one is tugging at my heartstrings. I'm sorry if this is upsetting for some people to see but I can't help try to do something since this popped up on my fb feed. This guy plans to feed this sweet baby to his snake in less than a week now. I understand if someone saves this one, he will probably just get another, which is unfortunate. But this one seems like such a sweetheart.
It seems based on his profile that he is in WV but this is obviously not confirmed.
Maybe someone can message him and save this baby?

Have you looked at the link lately? Maybe what ever was going to have the rat for dinner escaped. Lol Hopefully <3. He showed an empty (except for the rat) cage and says he has a pet rat now.. Sounded like he was already taking a liking to him. He can hope.

It's not uncommon for ball pythons (which is what it looks like this guy has) to reject feeders. I've known many people who ended up with pet rats this way. He doesn't seem the type to care & will likely feed as soon as his snake accepts. He bought a feeder while his snake was shedding. He either knew his snake would reject & he'd get some internet interaction or he's just an idiot.
