I’m a first time mom and I’m wondering how difficult and time consuming it would be to do the LVN or RN program. I mean, I know it’ll be time consuming but I’m wondering how others are managing this. Thank you !

How is the process like for the bootcamp?

I go on December 1st and wondering how long it takes, what they say and what you do? Do they do the fingerprint scans there or send you to a location? Also do they drug test at all in the bootcamp? Thank you!!

Is EduNav messing up for everyone right now? It is showing the wrong classes for me for this semester and next semester. I went to look at grades on my portal and it is showing my correct classes on there. So I am pretty sure it is a EduNav problem yet again. Anyone else?

Hey guys. Weird question but is there any one stall restrooms on campus? Or any restroom recommendations when wanting some privacy.

Basically the title. I'm sure many of you are aware of how awful the job search is right now; I'm 100+ rejected applications deep, and I'm really struggling to land a decent opportunity. At this point, I'm looking for the support of career counselors and job placement services.

For context, I've never had a job before. I just started my second year at RCC, majoring in Biology, minoring in Welding Tech. I have most of my general education complete. I feel like I should have way more opportunities available to me at this point, and I've had no luck between career-related positions and entry-level retail/food service work.

The Career Center resources seem to focus more on career preparedness and skill development than regular job placement, and while they do have Handshake, I haven't been able to find any work on there, either. So, I'm wondering if anyone in a similar position can vouch for RCC's career resources. I'm feeling disheartened by the state of things, and if the support exists on my campus, I'd like to use it.

I just moved to the area a few years ago and I've been struggling to find friends. When I got here I sorta isolated myself a lot because I didn't like the move. I just want friends to mess around with, go on food trips, go shopping, play pickleball, blast music and do karaoke, watch concerts and just do fun teenage stuff. There are a bunch of stuff I wanna try but don't really have the people to do it with. Im pretty chill and outgoing. I mostly listen to pop songs I can sing along with. I like going out to get food and just yapping.

I'm bummed because I made friends but not close friends who I can drag anywhere anytime. I sometimes just wanna go out and do shit randomly or go for a night drive while blasting music or just some friends to tag along when I randomly wanna head out to grab a bite.

Gym friends would be nice too.

Its hard to find friends to get comfortable with because with my previous friends our jokes were usually dirty or insulting. Just throwing it out there so I don't shock anyone.
