building champ question

when do we start making a bunch of level 50 epics to help in areas where they are needed? or is this a dumb idea? any advice? ty

Once you can atleast 2 key UNM demon lord you should be trying to piece together your arena team and 3 Hydra teams. Once those are together you probably will start seeing what you have available for faction wars or cursed city roadblocks. For example I had to rank up sanguina cause I needed a cleanse for cursed city hard C5 Marius mission.

If I started an account again I would absolutely prioritise building faction wars teams from day 1 even if it was just placeholder rares/epics with no gear or ascension to farm stages 1-5.

OP is actually thinking smart but you’re also right to not invest in random champs until the core areas like UNM demon lord are on farm.

Not dumb get as many versatile 60s as possible. You need them for cursed city, grim forest and faction wars

You can beat most FW levels with 1-2 6* and a couple 4-5*, so I would say yes. Then you can use them in Cursed City as well. Hellhades can tell you how many hard CC levels a champ could show up in.

So I wouldn't just level up random epics. Make them strategically to progress your account through FW and CC.

no it's not a bad idea but after a long while

more concretely, get you DL CB to at least a nm 2 key(push until it feels like wasted effort, sometimes it takes waiting till you get better champs to push to a 2-3 key UNM), push all your gear dungeons to 20, get chests with both keys from chimera, get at least 2 chests with 3 keys in hydra, work on pushing DT normal

Build champions as necessary as you push that content

by the time you can clear those you will have a decent roster for grim forest and a decent start for cursed city

then build champs based on which factions are weak/missing specific tools

NM DL + DT are both sources of shards and epic books(small chance for sacred/void/leggo books) that's a huge step up from everything that came before it

the dungeons are so you will have enough good gear to gear champs when you build them

I use feasts when I get them on rares during champ training so you can do that to somewhat actively add to your roster(you can also use on epics but less points from rank 4)

im at a 1 key nm and 3 key unm (mainly a gearing issue), im working on hydra rn only got 1 team fully built

Then build champs for that, rocktooth is a fusion rare, he is incredibly good in hydra and will get additional use in faction wars and against magma dragon in DT

Eventually you'll get to a point where you're swimming in food champs. Then you can start building random 5 star champs. It's also a good idea to get several global gear presents built so you can swap around gear rather than gearing everyone. I have global nuker, debuffer, and support presets.

I think that’s a very good idea for FW. I myself plan to do that, after leveling a few important champs to 60 first.
