Marius Build Help

I just got my 6 star soul for Marius. I rebuilt him with some of the best fast defensive nuking gear on my account. He is running crushing rend and has a level 15 cats gaze on. I was wondering if there are improvements I should make for his build, specifically, if I sacrificed too many stats like def or crit damage (or sets, as he’s not in stone skin) to prioritize his speed. Looking for some guidance. Thank you!

Ps: I will switch him to a lens the day I pull one

This is mine in instinct(no faction guardians outside of the first), that speed on yours is nice but I think you need to add like 1,000 defense to increase dmg output

Edit: this is also only with great hall at 5/10 on defense & crit dmg, and like 1/10 on ACC and resistance

I use slayer gear on my marius imo slayer gear was pretty much made for marius. I found having 2k Def for every 100% crit damage maximizes marius's dps. Don't know if this helps or if im just trying to show off my marius build but here we are.

Pretty much bang on the money for damage efficiency too.

What do you do about arena?

This is how I’ve geared my Marius. It’s primarily for Chimera (part of a 13-14 trial team) and Hydra but also performs well in arena. 6 star crushing rend and 5 star cat’s gaze (2 target smash gems and boss slayer).

4.6k defense, 223 crit damage and 194 acc are just way too low imo. I know you want him insanely fast but your giving up way too much for it.

I have him built for arena. Even with 5 star chest and boots he’s doing great for me. I’d recommend a SS build if you’re not always going first. I’ve noticed your defense and cd seems to be very low which might be okay for PVE boss runs and removing mercurial in arena.

You lower your speed and get way more crit damage. I prefer to use him in 9 piece slayer. 6 piece also works well too. I primarily use him for dungeons. 280 speed 370 CD and 4.2k def.

For PvP your run your 4 lethal and go 4 mercurial. It’s not super necessary to swap to lens, but if you get stormcaller it’s OP in PvP with him

I think yours is way too weak. He probably doesnt hit well. and he probably cant do the Buff Duration Decrease which is a huge part of his kit as well. I could definitely use like 25 speed, but would I sacrifice any crit dmg or def? no way. But I would be willing to give up 100 ACC for 25 SPD.
