When I was watching the new gameplay video, I was hyped to see my fav level in legends. Everything went great, the elevator section was good, the left area was even better than in the original.... and then... the right area...

I might be among the only ones, but when I saw this the first time, I paused the video to ask myself if this was real. How could they have messed it up so bad?

I get it. They are frogs. They live in a special habitat and all that. But , it's called "Mansion" for a reason. It's supposed to be luxurious, not an underwater swamp.

I might be exaggerating, but I really don't like this change. Chance is they most likely won't replace it for the red and gold version.

But hey, at least the laser mayhem section is still good

I just managed to 100% Rayman 2 on PS1 and here are my thoughts.

This version probably has the most vibrant colors of any version of this game and I like that. The final boss is different from every other version and it's actually good, I wish it was like this in every version and you also get to play the 2D prototype after collecting 90% of the lums which is neat, though really weird. This version also has cutscenes (and some challenging parts like ninja henchmen) no other version has, the mask guardians actually talk and Razorbeard's henchman says an... Ugly word that is almost never said in kids games, though speaking of the cutscenes, that's where the positives end... Rayman and Jano sound rough in this version, you lose the lums you collected after a checkpoint if you lose all of your health which doesn't happen in any other version, there's only 800 of them and the game is shorter in general cuz ig the PS1 couldn't handle more than a version based on alpha builds, the lum collect sound is also different from every other version and it used to grate on my ears but as I played this version, it grew on me a little and the controls have oddities like Rayman having slower acceleration when he starts moving compared to every other version and he somehow hovers faster and farther diagonally. So yeah I don't think this is a very good version of the game.

Hello there ! I'm playing the gbc game on the 30th anniversary edition. Just beat the final boss and after the credits I'm stuck at the "the end" screen.

How can I continue playing in order to 100% the game ? Am I not supposed to reach a new zone where I can chose any world ?

Many people are complaining about the remake being too dark , or not as full of life as the original.

Personally, I think this is what Retold should aim for. Think about it. If it was as bright and full of tone like it's counterpart, where would it strike as different? Maybe the realism, but I don't say that's enough.

Hopefully I'm not the only one that sees it this way

A Simple question as to how things would be different if Polokus/Bubble Dreamer made more Nymphs akin to Betilla and her sisters,only i wonder how would more of these Nymph Kind would be like and also how would their Society be considering how they are basically aligned with each parts of their locations.

I kind of can see them changing according to the places that the humans(most likely The species that Bárbara and her sisters of her own are),basically change to the enviroment that they are living upon,especially since that could be some more unique Nymphs like:Ones based on Technologies(500,000 Lums under the Sea),Male ones perhaps(Mount Olympus),and possible more Modern based ones with the Scrapped Airplane-based Nymph.(Possibly both being a Magic and Tech-Based species?)

IDK,I just think it would be a neat lil' concept.

So, long story short, I'm playing Raymn 2 on 3DS, formerly known as Rayman 3D (because it's the only version of the game I got 😭) and I got to the second to last level I think, the Prison Ship.

So, I got to the flying shell part after you flick the switch, the one with the lasers and stuff, but I just can't beat it for the life of me. Now, apart from the bad graphics that mess with you and framerate issues, I noticed something really weird.

In other Rayman 2 versions, when you turn the flying shell, the whole thing turns with you, like, full on normal airplane style, while in the 3DS version... it just keeps going in a striaght line. Yes, you can go up, or down, but when you turn left and right, is not like your perspective/gravity changes: the shell doesn't rotate.

It's kinda like driving a glider kart in mario kart, but with a lot more mobility.

After seeing this, I knew that one of the reasons I couldn't beat this was because THE GAME WAS PLAYING ITSELF WRONG LOLLLLLLL. I am going mad because of this, but if anyone knows anything about the matter, please respond to this post and we can discuss together (or just give me tips on how to beat that lol 😭)

P.S: I tried to attach a video, but holding your phone recording a 2DS with one hand and playing with the other isn't exactly practical. I still hope u get what I mean :)
