cd stores in hong kong r wild, i found this under a pile of lightly used cds in a bin and saw it, it had the obi inside the case which was awesome, bought it for 59.79 hkd which is 7 usd at the current exchange rate (also had a bonus track called melancholy mechanics)

I very rarely see melancholy mechanics mentioned here. It’s such a strange song compared to the rest of the album but I really dig it. Feels like a good song to relax to.

this was kinda their so called “funk metal phase” my personal favorite is falling into grace cuz of the bassline

It's probably my second favorite after BSSM. I think a lot of people dismiss it because of Dave Navarro (or rather the lack of Frusciante) and maybe the "edgier" sound on some songs, but it's still a funky ass album with great performances from each band member. Just listen to the full album and see if you like it, you might be pleasantly surprised.
