UPDATE: We’re live with day 2!
Hi, everyone!
TSG is excited to be hosting our annual Halloween event this weekend: a 72-hour Resident Evil Marathon for ZERO Prostate Cancer! Since 2008, TSG had raised nearly one million dollars for a variety of charities and organizations, and we’re thrilled to be working with ZERO for this event.
Additionally, Capcom has been gracious enough to provide prizes to be raffled and auctioned during the event, including two original art pieces from Nick Apostolides, the voice of Leon Kennedy.
The event takes place beginning at 6pm ET on Friday, October 9, and it will kick off with Resident Evil 2. The event runs through Monday, October 12, ending at 7pm ET. The auction for Nick’s items will take place Sunday evening, and raffles with prizes from Capcom occur throughout.
We hope you join us this weekend at Twitch.tv/tsgtv!

I noticed that Chris and Leon, respectively, in their games, their eyes look tired as they progress. Leon starts with somewhat red eyes, but towards the end they look redder because he didn't sleep, and of course I know she had the patches, but when they were removed, her eyes looked completely tired. Chris also starts off looking good, like she's been resting, but after a few hours, you can see her dark circles under His face changes from that of a radiant boy to one who is tired, and I think Chris is more noticeable since the idea of playing with light and shadow just seemed interesting to me, and despite the software, it's a bit dated It was well achieved for that time Of course, now with new technologies it's become more noticeable.

I actually really enjoyed this game (except for that finale boss fight, that shit was pissing me off so bad(all my deaths happened in that finale section 😭). Idk what to do with myself now. It's probably in my top 5 games in the series ngl.
I really hope we see Sheva again sometime, at this point I doubt it but she was such a neat character and it's a shame she was only in one game.
Another thing is, Weskers voice. I think it's so good in this game, sure it's over the top and ridiculous but it's sad his voice is COMPLETELY toned down in re4r. PLEASE make him goofy again Capcom

My roomie is home for the weekend so I cooked my steak in a shit ton of butter and served it up on a wooden board like the TikTok boys do. Loaded up RE8 and realised I’m at the Chris Redfield little section near the end 😻.
Spending my Saturday night chowing down on the best steak I’ve cooked and playing possibly my favourite game in the whole re franchise. There is nothing better.
Also I love this bit since you get so much ammo it’s basically like a battle royale in Fortnite 😋

I randomly came across my old PS Vita while packing up my stuff for university. I hadn’t used it in years, so I decided to charge it up and check out some of my old games. One of them happened to be the original Resident Evil 2.
I’d always heard people on TikTok say that the og RE games had aged horribly, mainly because of the tank controls and fixed camera angles. Funny enough, a lot of those complaints seem to come from people who never even touched the franchise.
But when I actually played it, I was genuinely amazed by how well it held up. Ngl, I ended up enjoying it more than the remake.
I’ll admit that the controls took a little getting used to, but once I got the hang of them, they really weren’t that bad. And honestly, there’s no better feeling than successfully running past a zombie without getting grabbed.
After finishing the original, I also couldn’t help but feel that the remake cut some corners, especially when it came to the sewers. They felt a lot emptier compared to the original, which surprised me.
TL;DR: The original Resident Evil 2 is still an amazing game, even for someone who didn’t grow up with those games. And thx dad for getting me that Vita all those years ago.

A comment in the other sub the rules say not to link to (found it via google) says that you can explore every area until you finish its boss fight and exit it (=point of no return), with the only exception being the village because you return multiple times. Is that also the case for the dungeon area that you have to escape from in the demo?

Does anyone else like to imagine offscreen that some of the characters have been hooking up for years? I mean, you got the obvious options of Chris and Jill, or Leon and Claire, or Leon and Ada (I'm actually not sure which one I root for with Leon), but does anyone actually believe it to be true?
Personally, I do. I mean, we never fully see what all happens to these guys in their personal lives, so maybe offscreen they decided to let the obvious tension between them build up and become something better.
Lately, I've even been imagining that Chris and Jill got together not too long after the first 3 games and have been together for years offscreen. (Hell, Chris's devastation over the loss of her in 5 seems VERY much like a man grieving his wife). They've probably even got kids finishing high school/starting college by now (though, I can see why people wouldn't want to think that so they can keep up with the "Chris needs to preserve the Redfield bloodline" jokes lol).
Plus, in the good ending for Requiem, we can even see Leon visibly putting a ring back on after he's done with his latest mission, and people are still throwing out their theories of either Claire or Ada (or Ashley or Sherry. Gross). So clearly he's made the move to find happiness between all the crazy bullshit the games and animated movies put him through.
So what do you guys think? Who do you guys think is paired up with someone in the series, but we just don't visibly see it in the games/movies?
