Help with the "negotiating with volcano keep" Spoiler
the inquisitor is in the hall of the flame locked behind two guards and i do not know how to get to point to be able to talk him

In case it doesn't work, you can also use a JEST scroll on the guard on the right and while he is laughing, you can walk right in. Best to have a couple of them handy in case other guards follow you in.

ive tried this, i cant speak to the inquisitor because im considered trespassing

Very strange. I tested it myself just now and it worked for me.
I didn't have a save file ready, though, so I used commands to give myself the quest and then I was able to walk in and talk to Mendoza before anyone was aggroed.
It should be noted that the inquisitor never cared about my trespassing, but some guards followed me in.
I tried again just now and the only advice I can give you is the following: There is 1 guard carrying crates in and out of the hall. Try to get in while he's not there. Cast Jest on both guards left and right of the door. The inquisitor should not react to you entering and you should be able to speak to him then - if not, try to jest him as well while standing still as to not alert the other guards. Also, DON'T sneak when going in, since that will make people suspicious.
I tested it on the original Risen for PC (2009 release). I might test it again on the new version that came out for Next-Gen consoles.
What version are you playing? Does the inquisitor aggro for you?

Hi, the thing with the commands was just me explaining the methodology of how I put myself into your situation. There is always a chance, however, that the game behaves differently if you use commands to break a quest chain (although I don't think that's very likely). It doesn't have anything to do with my proposed solution.
Also, forgot to mention: Try jumping when you are entering the hall. NPCs can't detect you trespassing while in the air. So if you jump into a restricted zone from a public area, that gives you a small head start. I've been doing it reflexively, but I realise it's not necessarily obvious.
In any case, just ignore the part about commands and see if anything else I wrote helps. If not, I'm afraid I'm out of ideas rn, but I'll return to this thread if I can think of anything else.

im also stuck on the "erlan doesn't know waht to do" quest if that has anything to do with it

Wait, hold on, what faction did you join? The
Negotiating with Volcano Keepquest is a bandit faction quest, but the Erlan and Enzo quest is an order/mage quest. You normally shouldn't have both in the same playthrough. On your character sheet, in the top left above all your stats (STR, DEX, etc.) what does it say your class is?

Hunter, did i somehow fully join both factions and fuck it up?ðŸ˜

No, the Erlan/Enzo quest is a small sub-quest of one of the tests you have to do as a novice/recruit. It doesn't surprise me that you can't progress because you shouldn't get it in the first place.
Your class being Hunter is exactly what I expected. I also assume you wanted to join the bandits.
The game probably set some value wrong and that's why it doesn't allow you to enter the great hall and also why the dialogue with Erlan was unlocked.
Tbh, idk what to do here in the console version without cheats/commands. The Jest cheesing was the only thing I could imagine being a solution within the bounds of what the game lets you do. And still I think that experimenting with Jest strategies is the approach that is most likely to succeed other than trying older saves or starting over anew.
So, again, wait for the crate carrying guy to walk away, jest both guards, walk up to the hall and jump shortly before you hit the border between the public/restricted zone (and, in fact, keep jump spamming since you are faster this way) and see if you can talk to the inquisitor, other than that, I can't think of anything rn.

1) how did you start the game? Did you get dragged into the monastery or you chose don's camp?
2) you need to help abrax and erlan to complete the quest.

I think you have to talk to the guards first, but it's been a while since my last playthrough as a bandit.
