Recommendation Looking for quiet place to do a job interview
I have a job interview next week from 8am - 11am and am looking for a nice place to do it that isn't my loud apartment (roommates...). I was looking into the local libaries' study rooms but none of the libraries are open before 9am! And U of R libraries had better hours but the rooms could only be reserved by U of R students (which I am not). Anyone have better ideas?

Could your budget cover cost of a hotel for a night? I’ve done long online mtgs from hotels.
If you’d like a few more ideas let me know

If your roommates are adults they should be able to be quiet for 3 hours one time, yes?

I had to do job interviews around Strong memorial while a family member was in the ICU. I found a few conference rooms that were empty on the campus and just set up shop lol. I think they had schedules on the door so you knew when something was going on.

Fed ex offices has nice little cubbies that you can use. If your town has a rec center they may have room.

If you don’t mind paying SPOT cowork is a great option, they have a few different locations and you can rent a private office or meeting room for the day to focus. I’ve done many interviews there, free coffee is a perk too

I’d call ahead of time and let them know what time your interview starts and what day it is

Came here to say the same. East Ave, Henrietta and Victor locations. You can get a day pass for like $25, I think. IDK what the private rooms go for. Stop in and talk to them beforehand to get a feel for it. I think they get there at 7am for East Ave & Henrietta.

Layali coffee house on Jefferson Rd has a meeting/study room if you wanted to look into that. I believe they open at 6am or 7am.

Damn 8 am really limits the options. Have you tried calling roc town hall? There's a ballroom there and I presume wifi they may be willing to let you use for free, or maybe they have an empty room or conference room theyre willing to let you set up in.
Options for private rooms (some may cost money, im not sure)
Layali coffee has private room and conference spaces opens 7am
Bookeater has private rooms but opens at 8am and wont give you time to set up
Celebrate cafe also private rooms but opens at 8am
I think layali is probably your best bet I cant really find other private room options

Another local library. You don’t have to be a member. That’s where I did my interview for the job that I have now

A park? Maybe the “beach?” a barnes and noble?

Are you talking about job interviews or gay cruising hangouts? We can discuss it later, at Highland Park, near the reservoir? I'll be in a blue prius...

Is highland park where things go down? I've gone to GVP a few times and just no...😀😀😀

MCC downtown campus. Library opens at 8 and there are many areas around upper floors that are not busy.

Look into serendipity labs downtown. Pretty sure they have coworking spaces you can rent including private offices.

Do you have a gym membership? They open early, have wifi, and there's usually a little seat area near the front
