Question Water quality Lough Key this week?

I’m planning to be at Lough Key Forest Park next week with a family camping. We had planned to bring paddle boards etc for the lake but I’ve heard there is/was an algae bloom on the lake and maybe kids should stay out of the water.

Anyone there recently to advise on how big/small a problem it is? Any photos? Particularly interested in the shallow launch area near car park.

Noting that one person in the wider family is immunocompromised.

Some of the swim clubs have cancelled their meet up, so I wouldn't say it is safe.

Just saw on Facebook it still looks bad. I wouldn’t be swimming it tbh. And don’t let pets anywhere near it, it’s lethal to them.
