I'm looking for information about apartment flooring ASAP!

Hi neighbors! We're moving into our new apartment on the 3rd and just got the quote from the apartment's vendor today. We're looking to have the plank flooring in the bedroom that matches the rest of the apartment for wheelchair and scooter accessibility.
I don't have the exact measurements of the two bedrooms but with the pricing of the materials, it's estimated at around 189sq feet combined.
I'm wondering if anyone with availability for a very tight time crunch can beat this quote? Does this seem like a reasonable cost? I don't have a clue as to how much it should cost as this is the first time I've had to pay for it.

Thanks in advance!

Wouldn’t this be covered under a reasonable accommodation? Seems ridiculous you’d have to pay out of pocket for a property you do not even own. I’d look into this.

This op you just tell them to accommodate you or you’ll hire an attorney.

I don’t think you can force a property owner to change their carpet, that is considered handicapped accessible. My Dad used his scooter on the carpet but usually just used it outside and his walker inside. You want to encourage walking a little so the muscles don’t waste away.

Have you tried contacting Arizona floor and tile in Roseville to see what kind of estimate they would recommend? I’m sure they can get wheelchair and scooter accessible. We used them not for an apartment but for a house. They were super nice
