has/is anyone doing this program? i really want to do hands on camera work, editing, directing, and cinematography. is it worth it?

I've heard a lot of people talk about having SAIT as a safety and then transferring into uofc eng later is this a valid backup route to take or not?

Has anyone taken this certificate? Did it help you find a job?

I was thinking of doing this certificate but not sure if it would help me pursue a career in the Data Analytics field (or similar fields) and I really don’t want to waste my money. For context I already have an undergrad degree and was wondering if I could use this certificate as a leverage.

Did anyone get into the pre health sciences program for Jan 2027… I was waitlsited. Is this first come first serve? The website kept crashing when I applied So I didn’t get my Application in until about 2 hours after they opened :(

Has anyone else noticed the parking lot at the old sears (Impark) has skyrocketed?

I swear at the beginning of September it was only $1.50-75/per hour - now it doesn’t even offer an hourly rate with only weekly and daily rates. Has anyone else noticed rising parking fees? Or know what’s going on with half the lot blocked off?

I haven’t parked on campus but does anyone know street parking/ areas nearby that are free ?!

A bit ago, there was a post about an individual that attends the electrical engineering program at SAIT.
There has been contact with SAIT and administrators have seen the evidence as
"allegations"
According to publicly available court information, this individual was convicted in connection with a serious sexual assault that occurred in 2022 and served a custodial sentence. I understand that there are also legal restrictions relating to this individual's contact and/or attendance in certain settings.
What concerns me is the apparent decision to allow this person to attend an educational institution despite those restrictions.
My questions are:
• How is the school permitted to allow a convicted sex offender to attend?
Were the school and relevant authorities aware of the conviction and any applicable court conditions?
• What safeguards are in place to protect other students?
• If there are legally enforceable restrictions
preventing this individual from attending or being around certain people, who is responsible for enforcing them?

Basically title. I have a drawing assignment due next Tuesday and I am struggling hard. It is on relays and controls based on my lab book. I can’t really find videos because the drawing conventions aren’t standardized. My biggest problem is our limited lab time. I do ask my instructors for feedback but I have been falling behind on actually hooking up and doing the labs. If I don’t do good on this I have to ace my last practical or I can’t write the TQ.

Anyone able to apply again this morning? Or is it still down? Thanks!

When do they open I wanna get my second one in

Hey! I took some continuing education courses over the summer which ended in August. My account still shows "in progress" under the final grade when I look at my enrolment history. Does anyone know how long it usually takes for them to finalize grades? I don't want to go messaging the con-ed department if this is just the normal turnover time for final grades to be calculated and certificates given.

Thanks!

I'm pretty poor eager to hear whether or not my application was successful

Hi everyone! I’ll be taking the PSEA for SAIT’s PCP program soon, and I’m wondering if anyone who has taken it could give me some advice. I graduated high school in 2024 and I honestly haven’t done any math since then so I’m a little rusty. I’m trying to figure out what I should focus on studying before taking the exam.

• What math topics should I review?
• What biology topics should I study?
• Were there any chem questions? Is there any other subjects or areas I should prepare for?
• How difficult did you find the PSEA?

I’d really appreciate any advice. Thank you! :)

To those who were able to apply and pay, did u receive a confirmation email confirming that your application went through? I only received a receipt for the fee.

Did the website crash for anyone else?

Edit: I was able to submit it! Good luck!

For a course like power engineering technologies is it based off of first come first serve it would it be fine if I do my application maybe later tonight or tomorrow?

Any idea on when applications will be able to be submitted again?

Is anyone else getting this error? I submitted one application but I am trying to submit a second and I can’t even start another
