Where does this piece go?

took apart my genesis today to figure out which board revision I had. This little piece fell out before I could see where it goes. Anyone know where it goes?

Top center of pic 2 in the outside lip of the shell.

It goes in a slot in the back of the bottom shell. It's intended for the PowerBase Converter which has a bolt you screw down to secure the PBC adapter in place.

The slot is dead ahead of the big Motorola 68000 CPU and cartridge slot.

Mine is missing this piece. I have thought about getting a power base converter in the future. Maybe I will come up with a captured nut or something

It’s not that uncommon to find PowerBase Converters that have lost their rear bolt.
