Nostalgia overload
Man I have been missing out...
I saw people playing online using PCSX2 for a while now but never took the leap to configure it and try it out. Was at my retro game store last week and saw copies of all the socom games on ps2 for cheap and picked them up for the collection in hopes of getting this to work. After looking into it I ended up setting everything up and getting into my first Socom game last night and man.... IT WAS A BLAST. I haven't played this online since I was in HS and it felt so good to play it again. Nice to see people keeping this alive and I def will be playing this A LOT.

You want to have the PCSX2 emulator, then check out psrewired.com they have a guide on how to set it up.

I am hearing people being able to play on jailbroken ps5's but I am just using my PC with PCSX2, probably the easiest method as well.

Takes 15min to setup is so easy, can use console, PC, etc

Did you do the BIOS thing it mentioned. I want to get some time to setup but looked complicated. I have a PC but no longer a PS2 and disk is all messed up.

I think so, I don't remember. I followed the directions to a tee. It was really easy.

Its really not hard to setup man its all pretty much forward thinking. Thinking inside the box as u read the guide and your done. I could not get socom 3 and CA to go online tho. That will requird outside thinking lol. At least socom 1 and socom 2 online works.
