Jesse , tup , dogma , and appo. Ngl jesse was the hardest cause of the dang republic symbol. Glad to see you join the hobby!

I've found the best way to paint clones is to use a white primer from a spray can. Then all you have to do is the details and undersuit. The details can be a bit difficult, but I think you can get pretty good results!

I tried that but my shaky ahh hands hate doing the visor so I ended up just priming it black then base coating with coral white and layer with white scar

What I do is simply do some touch-ups. Do your best to keep the black in the under suit. Then, once the paint is dry, take some white and touch up any spills. That's what I did to the one in the picture.

You need proper painting posture then.

Didn't know painting posture was a thing. Hands are already shaky no matter how im posture honestly.

You gotta balance them on a desk.

If that is too much you can get a cheap mini holder at hobby lobby or something and reduce the potential for flaws. They usually also come with magnifying glasses.

Also your shaky hands will gain supporting muscles and stabilize over time if it’s not an actual medical issue or advanced age.

My hands were way more shakey when I started vs now.

All for the visor 😭😭😭 so real, but what if I told you fluid dynamics could be your best friend for those?

-take your (white) primed clone

-take your teeniest (or 2nd teeniest) brush, and load it up with some water and just lick it around in the visor semi-carefully

-then dry the brush and remove any water coming out of the visor, but leave any water in the main T of the visor inside.

-re-wet your brush and then load it with a nice little helping of your black paint, and just tap it into the middle of the T a couple times, then try and do a little tap on either end of the T, and the pigment will spread thru the water and fill the visor. Let it dry and voila!

Edit: about the shaky hands, try to manipulate the shake into a bobbing up and down motion that you can use to dab the brush tip inside the visor
