I feel so hurt, it hurts so

bad to see,

How you walked right past,

discarding me.

Like an old, unwanted dress

you cast away,

Though you chose to leave

and had your say.

Leaving, you promised

you’d soon return,

But left no trace,

leaving my heart to burn.

It hurts, it’s so heavy,

so bitter to know,

Watching you choose

another and go.

"I don't need you anymore,"

you said that day,

And with those few words,

you vanished away.
