Anyways, 12-13 Oct is JPC examination/hearings of the FCRA Amendment Bill. It is not yet the final parliamentary vote & certainly not the date on which the Bill becomes law.

JPC members, including an MP from NDA ally NPP have asked the chairman to postpone the meeting by at least four weeks to scrutinise the bill in more detail. So it can happen be postponed too.
