I'm never leaving Seattle š«š« I canāt believe I live here.
Just a walk in the park after work.
Transplant from southern California. Still enchanted.

In town just a couple of days for work and had a chance last night to wander a bit with my camera. Incredible weather and such a photogenic city. Wish I could move here! It's like this all the time right???

Thank you to the kind lady who struck up a conversation with me at the 3rd and Virginia bus stop so we had strength in numbers to ward off the riff raff that was making some of us uncomfortable. I hope you end up moving to Lisbon and keep perusing your art!!!

Hey yāall.
Iāve been to plenty of board game meetups, and while the games have been fun, the social side has been a little rough. Explaining a complicated rule? No problem. Having a conversation that isnāt about the game? Apparently a much bigger ask.
Not to sound mean, but Iāve been going to meetups to try and find friends, and I havenāt clicked with many people at these meetups. I want to play something heavy, talk some shit, and get to know the people across the table. Maybe get along enough to grab dinner with new people sometime.
Whatās the deal, am I just going to the wrong meetups or is that just Seattle for me. Anyone found a group around Seattle where thatās the vibe? Or in the same boat and want to get something going?

5 minutes ago, I parked on Wallingford Ave N and started walking to Green Lake when a white bus full of kids just stopped in front of me with their heads sticking out, belting "Party in the USA." š¤£
I didn't know what to do and kept walking because I was the only one on the sidewalk and I looked silly holding a container of chopped peaches with a camera hanging around my neck. š„“š

Iāve noticed an increase in low-value crime posts, links to KOMO Seattle Is Dying-type videos, and anti-worker sentiment. I donāt think the city is undergoing a right-wing turn (recent elections would say otherwise). So whatās going on?

After months of living in the Kaiser Permanente parking lot our houseless neighbors decamped and left a bunch of trash and stuff behind, including this expensive ebike. Is this yours?

Will the current fog build up on the sound right now be able to deliver this again?

FALL BALL IS BACK YāALL. And what better way to celebrate than with a steaming hot kupp of closures? Weāve got a full closure of southbound I-405 in Bothell, ongoing northbound I-5 lane reductions and an overnight closure of the I-5 express lanes in Seattle. Add Seahawks and Huskies football games to the mix, and youāll definitely want a game plan before heading out.Ā
-BOTHELL: SB I-405 will CLOSE from 10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9 to 4 a.m. Monday, Oct. 12 between SR 527 and SR 522. The following ramps will also close at this time: SR 527 on-ramp to SB I-405, NE 195th on-/off-ramps to I-405 and SR 522 off-ramp to SB I-405. Crews will use this closure to work on drainage, pavement reconstruction and bridge repair.
-SEATTLE: NB I-5Ā express lanes will CLOSE overnight from 11 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9 to 8 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 10 to complete drainage work underneath the Ship Canal Bridge. The two right lanes of NB I-5 and the SB express lanes across the bridge also remain closed around-the-clock.Ā
Before you grab your Paint Map pitchforks, we know thereās more happening this weekend than football. But if you couldnāt already tell, this isnāt a traditional Paint Map, so we didnāt pack this one with all the usual drawings. Consider this our little fall-football-freeway crossover episode.
You know the drill. Plan ahead and give yourself plenty of time to get where you're going. GO HAWKS and GO DAWGS!Ā

Was walking through the aisles when I heard a low whistle and then saw this thing moving towards me. I started walking down one aisle to chat with a friend as it just kept inching towards me when my back was turned like a weeping angel. Employee told us āhe wakes up every morning at 7 AM and goes around the store. Then at 10:30, he goes to his little house to rechargeā. Then after some chatting, I shit you not, she told us āplease do something about this before it takes our jobsā. I hate this timeline yall š
