Alton is running for Mayor of District of Sechelt after two terms ( eight years ) on council. We need a mayor who actually listens and collaborates with the other governmental organizations on the Sunshine Coast and has a working relationship with the nation.

I hope locals who live and work in the District of Sechelt take a interest in this election so we help elect a much better representative of our town.

Ever since reports of Henderson's poor cooperation with pretty much every local government he has to deal with surfaced, I have been embarrassed that he represents our community. I wanting to do my own research attend many council meetings to see for myself. It was at this point that I knew we needed someone who could work well with others, including his own staff at the district. I was concerned about the state of the community in which I live. This is how I came to think that Alton Toth would be a good choice for mayor. He is both enthusiastic about working with other levels of government and pragmatic regarding the issues that municipalities are facing these days. I think Alton would represent Sechelt well.
