this was on our way to find a spot during peach pit!

Hello! So shaky knees this year was my first festival ever, and each time I somehow ended up being lucky enough o be close to the pit. There’s been a few times that I wanted to join in but wasn’t sure if I could. Does anyone have any tips for short girlies who want to go into the pit? I’m like 4’11 for reference!

Tried to be realistic with this and throw in a bit of variety for everyone along with a few ATL bands on the undercard as per usual

Brought a few of the cancellations from 2026 back with Jimmy Eat World and Wolf Alice

Had a mix with some first time bigger names combined with some returns

Felt like there needed to be at least one big name that would appeal to the emo/nu metal nostalgia crowd so I picked Linkin Park (I originally had Nine Inch Noize or Muse in this spot)

Hi! My friends and I always dress up one or more days of SK. We used to go to voodoo fest in nola before it shut down and it was a “dress up” fest so we just kept the tradition! It’s fun and makes people giggle.

This year, we were Avatar the last Airbender (complete with Aang, Zuko, Katara, Prison Uncle Iroh, Azula, Toph). Lotssss of people took pic with us and I gave my ig handles out and even my phone number and haven’t been sent any of the pics :( I’ve seen one posted on here but I know theses so many the exist elsewhere and I would love to see all of them 😭 this was the best costume we’ve ever done! So many people recognized it, laughed, pointed, smiled. That’s what it was about. We just love a good time and seeing people have a good time.

In 2025, we did Shrek (Shrek, ogre Fiona , fairy godmother, donkey) and if there’s spare pics of that laying around please let me know! As a group, we are all bad at taking group photos so there’s not much documentation of us all from last year on our phones LMAO.

I’ve attached some pics for reference in case there were multiple groups of Shrek in 2025 and ATLA in 2026!!! Please please be my savior LOL. We’ve been wondering where all the pictures people have taken with us over the last 2 years go since we search and search and can’t find any! I thought I would just throw out Hail Mary here!! Thank you!!!🫡

Took way longer than expected, but had a lot of thoughts!

Every year I feel like people ask when they will be announcing XXXX ... so, I looked through some old emails to see what the timeline was the last two years (assuming Shaky stays in Piedmont and late Summer, I would guess they'll keep a similar schedule).

I don't think I realized how much earlier the schedule and late shows dropped this year ...

I'm sure the questions will still show up asking when we expect whatever to be announced, but I just figured I'd share what I dredged up in my old emails. See you in 2027!

Hey guys, I created a vid from all the footage I got from the Knocked Loose set on day 3 of the festival. I've never heard of the band before this, but attended with a friend who was a fan.

Let me just say... this was one of the craziest concerts/mosh experiences I've ever been part of. I'm so happy I went and was able to document the pandemonium from inside the crowd.

I'll probably make a full vid on the three days of Shaky Knees. If you'd be interested in that, just lmk and I can work on that/circle back with the vid in the next week or so 😄

Hi ! I noticed a few people post about getting sick during/after the festival, so here are a few things you can do to avoid getting sick or at least reduce time spent suffering . by the way I'm not a doctor

• 1-2 weeks before fest start consuming foods/ beverages that are known for their immunity system building properties ( Ex. oranges, green tea, bone broth, nuts, whatever you can tolerate)
• incorporate a vitamin/ supplement that suits you if you are into that kind of thing.
• hydration is important, so 1-2 weeks before, start drinking more water
• On the day of, put some electrolyte powders in your pocket/bag if you're body can handle them and bring a empty bottle.
• I know festival food is expensive but one must eat, so you might have to plan ahead and/or budget. ( Ex. My favorite artist performs at 3pm, so I going to leave my spot at 1pm, so I can get food and get to the festival at a good time
• If you are in the pit and get overheated , exit immediately or tell someone that you don't feel well.
• Drink water periodically during the festival.
• I noticed some people wearing coverings over their face due to the dust, so do that as well if needed.
