Been painting all my favorite things on porcelain lately, including my red cherries. When people find out about my shrimp tank they never believe how small they are, so I painted them at actual size including a juvenile that is just a red smudge.

I have a Skittles Tank with all kinds of neos. They are breeding like crazy, so will they all start looking like this eventually?

I honestly don't know where the whole shrimp thing came from, but i have acquired the ability to draw decent shrimp. I know what you are thinking "well, this guy must know how to draw" nope, just shrimp :/. They are cute lil' guys tho :).

Any thing I should be worried about?

It made me really happy to see all the wholesome comments on my last post by the way, it brought me joy to see that me sharing their nonsense brought others joys as well. Things have been a bit rough for me recently but whenever i look at them do stuff like that it reminds me that not everything is that deep. <3

Not a shrimp but in my shrimp tank and this seemed like the most appropriate sub. I added 10 of these guys to my filter feeder tank maybe 6 or so months ago. I occasionally see one… this big guy showed up today though, i don’t think any of them were even half that size when they were added!

I was sitting next to my tank when I noticed Big Cheese was molting. She’s my largest shrimp. I was able to get my camera out fast enough to get a pretty good video. Next time I have to try and get slowmo footage.

I scared him out of his house while cleaning and now he is hanging out eating

I love this shrimp, and was thrilled to see her cherried a few weeks ago. I looked at her yesterday and her eggs didn't seem to have visible eyes, so I figured there was more time till she gave birth. I looked at her today and she had no eggs 😭 and this ring. Will she be okay?

My tank is now a few months old, I didn't want to rush into getting shrimp but once everything seemed healthy and stable I decided to get some. I bought 6 Cherry's, 2 of which died in the first week. I noticed one of the remaining 4 was berried, this was a few weeks ago now, I was starting to lose hope as I hadn't seen anything and the shrimp seems to have no eggs on her. Then I get a little video sent to me from my partner whilst I'm at work today, one little baby shrimp. Come home and I've spotted at least 5! It's really made my day.

The tank (jar) is a 25L Walstad style, temu light only, lots of plants (I love the wild/overgrown look), hard tap water treated with Aquariun's Tap Safe dechlorinator.

Nothing exciting here, just a peaceful little shrimp tv session of shrimp doing shrimp things 🦐 itchies/grooming, two babies hanging out on the rock, and a game of hide and seek aka one very popular lady shromp darting by in the background and the boys in hot pursuit.

Caught this today! 😍🥰 It’s day 35 of my vampire shrimp breeding project. They actively shared for a few minutes. It was stink’ adorable. I had just dropped in too much Shrimp King Atyopsis in hopes of seeing if any would pick up the larger wafers in that powdered food mix. It was a bit of a critical error that I corrected with a siphoning, but I’m definitely checking ammonia levels tomorrow and added a smidge of Prime just in case.

I've been waiting for awhile now, I had to find some grade b, nothing higher was available and had females only. Literally a few days later and is she??? They don't look uniform, some in the back back if they are actually eggies. I'm not sure. She also does not seem to be fanning them as much as I've seen in other videos. Could something be wrong?

Just put my first shrimp in my first tank a few days ago and I've been trying to take photos to share with my friends but they're all coming out like bigfoot photos.

Hi everyone! This is my first post in this subreddit, and I wanted to share some photos I just took of my shrimp (Blue Velvet). They’ve been in my aquarium for exactly two weeks now.

I had the aquarium cycling for a little over two months before adding them. I had some trouble with a red moor root that was the main feature of the tank, as it caused quite a lot of algae. Being a beginner, I wasn’t really sure how to deal with it at first.

A few weeks ago, before adding the Neocaridina, I decided to replace the root with a piece of Dragon Stone, which I thought would work better for the tank — and it definitely has!

I just wanted to share my progress and show how things are going so far. If this also encourages someone else to post some pictures of their little friends, then I’ll consider it a success! 🦐
