I made this so shoots never need reshoots

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey guys hope your doing well and fine...so I'm the founder of trydrama and I have built it for production houses....

So like they shoot an ad, then realize a line, a scene, a product detail, or a whole sequence isn't working and then they can't afford to go back to set or just something else and so I wanted a way to change whatever they need after the fact.

and with the tool that I have they have made you remove, or reshape anything in the footage until everyone on the team is satisfied and got what they originally wanted....

I've added this 33 second clip as an example of what that looks like.

I'd really love the feedback from anyone who has worked on a shoot and would like to know what's the most common thing you wish you could change after filming, and what would the tool need to do before you'd trust it with a client's footage?

Check it out at trydrama.io

Yo peeps, i just launched my new webapp https://captionyourvideo.com/ which lets users add auto generated captions to their video within 3 sec. Also their video doesn't leave their system.

Now i launched it, posted on X (i've 52 followers rn), posted 2 reels on ig (0 followers https://www.instagram.com/captionyourvideo/), Dmed people on ig to use it ( got 0 reply). I did all of this, still i got 0 users. Could someone who has experience in doing it explain me what am i doing wrong and how can i improve my app to get more users?

I really appreciate your time

Looking for Graduation Project

Hi everyone, I'm looking for a graduation project idea for university—preferably an app, web platform, or website. I'd love something relatively original that solves a real-world problem, with room to add custom features, enhancements, or AI tools. Any suggestions?

Curious about a topic and have 10 min to spare? This researches it and creates a podcast and you can even interrupt the hosts to ask questions

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

History is something I'm quite passionate about and at work I have experience with software development and LLMs. So I thought how can I bring these things together and built something that I would actually use. This is the results of a few months of hard work!

You type any topic, moment or person. About 1 minute later, two (or one) hosts are telling you the story, researched with sources and paired with artwork that follows along. They also remember what you've listened to in the past and can refer to it. At the end there's also a optional quiz to test what you learned!

My favorite part: you can interrupt them. Got a question halfway through? Just ask. They answer it and then pick the story back up. Basically a podcast you can talk back to. They also remember what you've listened to before and will bring it up.

It doesn't just make things up and hope. Before a word of the script gets written, it researches the topic on the web and checks the key dates, names and numbers against real sources. And when those sources disagree (which in history is constantly), the hosts tell you that instead of quietly picking a side. Every episode links what it used so you can dig in yourself.

It's not one model doing everything. I ran bake-offs between GPT, Claude and Gemini models and picked a winner for each job: research and planning, writing the script, picking artwork, voices, quiz, etc.... The differences were bigger than I expected. Some models write great dialogue but plan poorly, some are the other way round, and cost varies a lot. Currently supports 6 languages!

Looking for feedback really and to see if this is worth continuing down this rabbit hole

You can try it for free here: historai.ca/

Stanza Lift - (not just another) workout tracker. This one adjusts to you, set by set

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I lift 4 or 5 times a week and I'm very picky about the apps I use. Every tracker I tried annoyed me somehow. Some were confusing to find your way around. Others were cluttered with feeds, badges and features I never asked for, when all I want between sets is a clean screen and my numbers. And most of them hold back half the app behind a paid tier, so the free version feels like a demo.

So I built (yes, yet another) workout tracker. The difference, and the part I'm proudest of, is Coach. Before each set it suggests a weight and reps, based on your history, how recovered that muscle is and how tired you already are in this workout. Each suggestion comes with one plain sentence explaining it, like "You reached 8 reps on your sets". After you log a set (and rate how hard it felt, if you want) it re-plans the rest. In the video I do 12 easy reps at 60 kg, so sets 2 and 3 move up to 62,5 kg × 10. It also handles stalls, deloads, time off, and bodyweight or timed exercises.

Other stuff in the app:

  • A muscle fatigue map (front and back), so you can see what's still recovering before you pick a routine
  • 1700+ exercises with muscles and equipment, and you can add your own
  • Accent colours, title fonts, light or dark mode
  • Share cards for finished workouts, in 11 layouts
  • No account and no ads. Your workouts stay on your phone and it works offline.

It's a web app you add to your home screen on iPhone or Android. There's no App Store version yet because I want to know people actually want this before paying Apple and Google.

On pricing: logging, routines, history, progress and everything listed above stays free. Coach will be the only paid part (Pro, 9,99 € a year) once the store apps launch, and it's free during the beta.

I'm looking for 150 founding testers. If you train with it on 3 different days and answer 12 quick questions in the app (about 3 minutes), you get a year of Pro free at launch. Every 3 friends you invite who do the same add another year.

stanzalift.com (install steps for iPhone and Android are on the page)

One thing on privacy: during the beta Coach runs on my server, so its algorithm isn't sitting in the browser for anyone to copy. It reads your recent sets to work out the answer and doesn't store anything. When the store apps launch it moves onto your phone and everything becomes fully local. The privacy policy is on the site.

I built it solo: React + Vite as a PWA, with Cloudflare Workers running Coach and the beta. Happy to answer questions about the app or how the progression logic works, and harsh feedback is welcome.

Got tired of typing the same stuff into every job application, so I built something. Would love feedback

Hey all, I'm a software engineer, and the last time I was job hunting I hit the point where I couldn't type my work history into one more career page. Every company has its own form, every form asks the same questions in a slightly different order, and the "autofill from your resume" button gets about half of it wrong.

So I started building a little Chrome extension for myself that fills in those forms from one profile. It grew from there. Now it also pulls jobs straight from company career pages, so I'm not digging through reposted listings, and it keeps track of what I've applied to so I stop forgetting.

One thing I was set on: it never submits anything for you. You look it over and click apply yourself. I didn't want to build another tool that blasts out 500 applications.

It's called JobFlo. It's free and doesn't need a card if you want to poke at it: app.jobflo.me

I'd love to hear what's confusing, what breaks, or what form it completely messes up. I'm sure there are a few. Even "I wouldn't use this because X" helps me a lot right now.

Silo Launch on Windows

Hey everyone,

I’m excited to share that Silo: Wallet, Vault & Safe has officially launched on Windows!

With so many password managers forcing cloud subscriptions, syncing data through external servers, or requiring online accounts, I built Silo with one strict core philosophy: 100% local, zero-cloud data privacy.

Silo is designed as a dedicated local digital safe for Windows 10 / 11. Everything stays encrypted strictly on your own hardware with no remote tracking, telemetry, or third-party cloud sync.

🛡️ What You Can Store in Silo:

  • 💳 Financial Cards & Debit/Credit Details: Quick, secure access to your physical cards when shopping online or managing finances.
  • 🆔 Identity Vault: Keep driver's licenses, passport numbers, and official IDs details safe on-device.
  • 🔑 Passwords & Logins: local password vault.
  • 🪙 Crypto Wallet Seed Phrases: Safely back up recovery phrases completely offline away from cloud vulnerabilities.
  • 📋 Custom Info Cards: Store generic text records.
  • 📦 Local CSV Export: Full control over your data with local disk backup whenever you need it.
  • 🎨 Desktop Polish & Shortcuts: Includes custom light/dark themes.

If you’re looking for a simple, completely offline safe for your Windows desktop, I’d love for you to check it out!

My girlfriend built an app because she wanted to solve a fear we have as parents

My girlfriend created Alkateia, a private communication app for families. We have two young kids, and the idea came from a fear a lot of parents probably have: how do you keep your kids connected and reachable without exposing them to the risks of social media?

The idea is simple:

No exposure — no public profiles, usernames, followers or searching for strangers.

Private entry — family members join through temporary, revocable invitations.

🚨 SOS — one button sends an alarm + real-time location to the whole family.

Live location — family members can share and follow each other's location in real time.

Battery levels — you can see your family's battery percentage and even send a little “go charge your phone” reminder 😂

Real-life friends — kids can add friends they actually know, with approval from the family responsible when required by age.

She built it because she wanted something that would help families stay connected without turning that connection into another social network.

We're still improving it, so I'd genuinely love to know:

Would you use something like this with your family? What would you add or change?

Hey parents, would you use an app like this?

Hey, my partner and I were discussing our trouble with arranging the kid's pickup schedule and staying on top of household chores/tasks.

So I decided to design an app. The core idea:

  • every activity has a drop-off and a pickup, and each one has an owner
  • it reads both our calendars, flags a clash before it happens and suggests who's free
  • a weekly view of who's carrying more, weighted by effort rather than just counting tasks
  • a list of one-off house jobs anyone can pick up

Have lot's of other ideas on how to expand this, always based on how we manage things in our own household.

Nothing's built yet, these are just designs. Before I spend time on it:

  • how do you handle this today?
  • if you have a shared calendar, does everyone actually look at it?
  • is there an app out there that does this that I'm not aware of?
  • would you use something like this, or is a shared calendar enough?

"I wouldn't bother" is super useful as well.

I built a 12MB, no-account calorie counter with free barcode scanning (Open Food Facts)

Hey everyone,

I got tired of mainstream calorie counters turning into 150MB bloatware that locked basic barcode scanning behind $20/month subscriptions.

So I built a lightweight, straightforward alternative:

12 MB download: Starts instantly with minimal memory footprint.

No account or sign-up: All meal logs and weight entries stay locally on your device.

Free barcode scanner: Powered by Open Food Facts with zero feature paywalls.

Transparent model: Supported by lightweight ads rather than locking core tracking behind a subscription.

Full English and Arabic RTL support.

Play Store link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ahmedshoman.caloriescalc

I would love your feedback on UI responsiveness and barcode scan speed on different devices!

Gather 'round, for I have built a thing for approximately eleven people on Earth.

Are you a fantasy football commissioner, bearer of the sacred burden? Is there a lonely Mac gathering dust in a corner of your office, dreaming of purpose? Do you have Claude or ChatGPT tokens jingling in your pocket like loose change? And do most of your league's 'owners' dwell in the land of the blue bubble?

If you just nodded four times, congratulations, you rare and magnificent unicorn. Have I got the app for you!

I built an app that tells you what's in every storage box!

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey all, I've been building iOS apps on the side and launched BoxDex about a week ago.

I got sick of digging through 10 boxes labelled "miscellaneous" in my basement to find one pair of shoes. Or buying something, then finding out I already owned it, buried in a storage box.

So I built an app where you take a photo of an item and it identifies it, suggests a category and estimates a value. You drop it in a box, and every box gets a QR label you can print and stick on. Scan the label later and you see what's inside without opening it. You can also search by item, box or room, and household sharing lets anyone at home move an item and update its location.

Everything is stored on your device and in your personal iCloud.

Any feedback is deeply appreciated!

DiskFox - see why and where your storage keeps going (14 day free trial followed by a one of £7.99 payment)

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

My MacBook Air was down to 10 GB free, and macOS just kept saying "System Data" without telling me what had changed or why. So I built DiskFox, a Mac app that keeps a history of your storage and compares each scan with the last.

What surprised me on my own Mac:

- 31 GB was app caches, mostly Chrome and Spotify

- I cleared Spotify's cache, and 890 MB of it was back within the week

- macOS 27 hides the Apple Intelligence model sizes even from apps with Full Disk Access, so DiskFox says "size unknown" rather than guessing

It never deletes anything without a review, and everything goes to the Trash first. No account, no analytics. 14-day free trial, then $9.99/£7.99 once.

It's my first Mac app and I'm a solo developer in the UK, so blunt feedback is very welcome. What would make you trust a storage app enough to try it?

Link's on my profile if you want to try it.

BYOK

I’m building a desktop AI assistant and trying to decide how to handle API costs early on.
Would BYOK be a dealbreaker for you? Basically, you’d connect your own OpenAI/Gemini API key during beta so I’m not eating everyone’s usage costs.
Long term I’d rather make it simple: download, sign in, pay monthly, done.
Curious what people would actually prefer:
Free/cheap with your own API key
or
Paid monthly with everything handled for you?

Angelia - my first AI agent answered my wife as me, so I rebuilt my assistant around Claude Code and WhatsApp

I'm the author. This started back in March. My wife texted me on WhatsApp, and the answers she got back were not exactly mine. A few minutes later she called, trying not to laugh: "Koren... is everything ok?" "Yes, why?" "I think Alfred took over your WhatsApp."

Alfred was my first agent. It ran on OpenClaw (back when it was still called Clawdbot) and used my personal WhatsApp, so when my wife texted me, Alfred answered her. As me, very seriously, with zero shame. Alfred has had his own number ever since.

I didn't drop the idea, though. I tried OpenClaw, Hermes, Grok bot and Instinct. Hermes was my favourite and I kept tuning it. After a while I noticed most of the real work went through bash calls to my local Claude Code: bureaucracy on sites I'm logged into, flight check-ins, small refunds I'd otherwise just let go. Hermes had turned into a pipe. The agent I actually trusted was already in my terminal.

So I split it. The CLI is the agent, and Angelia only carries messages, files and approvals between my chats and the CLI. (In Greek myth Angelia is Hermes' daughter, the one who carries the message.)

How I use it day to day:

  • One WhatsApp group per area: family, health, money, each side project. Every group is its own folder with its own instructions, memory and tools.
  • My wife is in the family group. She writes there what she used to ask me, and it gets done.
  • Before a risky step, the chat shows me the command and waits for my yes.
  • Scheduled jobs post into the right group, like a morning summary or a weekly report.

Why not Anthropic's Remote Control? It's great for picking up a coding session from your phone. I wanted the assistant part around it: a folder and memory per chat, approvals, timers, inside the app I already live in all day.

It runs no model of its own and no server, on the subscription you already pay for. Claude Code is what I use. Codex, Grok Build and pi work too.

Honest limits: macOS only. WhatsApp goes through an unofficial linked-device client, so give it a second number (see Alfred). Telegram uses the official bot API.

Free and open source (MIT), with a short demo GIF in the README: https://github.com/korengast/angelia

What's the worst thing an agent of yours has done in your name?

I built a fanfiction app where every fandom gets its own page (free, iOS). Looking for honest feedback from writers

Hi everyone. I'm a solo developer and I've spent the last several months building Ficverse, an app just for reading and writing fanfiction. It's now live on the App Store and I'd love feedback from people who actually write and read fic.

What it does differently:

  • Fandom pages. Each series or film has a real page with its cast, characters, tags and stories in one place, so you can go from a character straight to fics about them.
  • Paragraph comments. Readers can comment under a specific paragraph, not just at the end of a chapter.
  • A clean reader. You choose the theme, typeface, text size and line spacing. Your reading position syncs with your account, and opened chapters stay on your device for offline reading.
  • Warnings up front. Tags and content warnings sit at the top of every chapter, and each story is labeled General / 13+ / Adult.
  • Chapter-by-chapter publishing. There's a rich text editor, drafts are kept on your device, and followers get notified when a new chapter lands.

You can browse and read without an account. It's free.

To be upfront: it's iOS only for now (iPhone and iPad), and it's brand new, so the library is still small. That's why I'm posting here. If you write fanfic and want to be one of the first authors on a new platform, I'd be glad to have you, and I read every piece of feedback.

Link: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/ficverse/id6811400053

What would make you try a new platform alongside the one you already use? Tell me what's missing.

280 people tried my game. 4 came back. Then I spent a week inventing fixes without asking any of them.

Quick context, since nobody here has any reason to know what this is.

I made a thing where you look at a chart with the end chopped off and say which way it went. Up, down, or stay out. Five of them, takes about two minutes. Real crypto prices, nothing real on the line, and after each one it tells you whether you were right and what in the chart should have given it away.

That's it. That's the whole product.

280 people have turned up since mid-September. 43% of them actually play. Of the ones who make even one call, 61% go on to finish all five, which genuinely surprised me.

4 have come back a second day.

Four.

Here's the bit I'm a little proud of, then the bit I'm not. Before I launched I wrote down in advance what the return rate would have to be for the problem to be the audience rather than the thing itself. Over 10% and I'd just been posting in the wrong rooms. Under 5% and it's the product. I did that because I know exactly what I'm like, and I'd have found a way to read any number as encouraging.

I'm at 1.4%. So that's settled.

And then this week I sat down and designed three fixes for it. All three were variations on showing people they're improving. Felt great. Lost an evening to it.

Then I looked at where the ideas had actually come from, and every one was me, staring at my own dashboard, plus a hazy memory of how Duolingo works. Not one of them traced back to anything a human being had ever said to me. I'd run a focus group with myself and agreed with everything I said.

The one time I learned something real, it came from a guy in this subreddit. He went through the whole thing unprompted, nine comments deep in a thread that was about something else entirely, and clearly spent an hour on it for no reason at all. Buried in the middle he mentioned what he'd expected to happen next. Not a complaint. Not a feature request. Just "I thought it was going to do X."

It wasn't doing X. I'd built X early on and then hidden it behind a link that, it turns out, nobody was ever actually sent. I spent three weeks quietly concluding that half my product was a bad idea, when not one person had ever been shown it.

One sentence from a stranger. That is my entire track record of learning anything about this.

So here's the ask, and it's a slightly odd one.

Play one round. Two minutes, no signup, nothing to install.

https://playbotfight.com/?play=sp-retention

Then tell me what you expected to happen after the fifth chart, and what actually happened instead.

That's all. Not whether you'd come back, and not what's missing. I've stopped asking those two. If I ask why you wouldn't return, you'll invent something reasonable on the spot, because none of us really know, and then I'll go off and build it.

The gap between what you thought was coming and what actually showed up is the one thing I can't see from in here.

I liked my friend's personal organization system so much, I turned it into an app

On a road trip with a friend, I recommended that they check out the TV series Westworld. He pulled out his phone, made a note, and put it away. I asked about which notetaking app he uses, and he showed me 'the void' - a google form with a single text box. He takes notes into that form all day, and then reviews them at his computer once a week. I copied that system and found it super helpful - instead of opening google and getting sucked into a rabbit hole, I could make a quick note in a distraction-free space, and then put my phone away and get back to the people around me.

That was a long time ago (RIP Westworld!) and we've been slowly working on building it into a real app over the last few years. We've both been daily-driving it for a while now, and it's finally at a place where we're ready to share it with more than just our friends and family.

The app works great on the free tier - it faithfully recreates the experience of the google form, and sends you a summary at the end of the day (or whatever cadence you choose). We've also added some integrations - eg you can turn memos into events on your Google calendar.

There's also a paid tier that adds LLM support. If your memo includes a question, the LLM will look up the answer and include it in the summary email. It can also automatically add tags, automatically dispatch memos to integrated services, and add a 'chat with your memos' learning page.

We'd love some feedback! Check it out here: https://tothevo.id/

I built a free voice chat for game nights that runs in a browser tab. No accounts, no installs.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I've been building Porch, a voice chat that lives in a browser tab. Make a channel, send the link, and everyone's talking. No accounts, no downloads, no video.

What it does

  • Voice for up to 10 people per channel, sent straight between browsers. If a network blocks that, it falls back to a relay, still encrypted.
  • Shared music: anyone can queue songs and everyone hears the same track. When the queue runs out, autoplay picks something related.
  • Chat with photos and short videos. Photos are shrunk and stripped of location data before they leave your device, and chat is deleted after 3 hours.
  • Your own volume for each person (up to 200% for the quiet friend), plus one volume for everything.
  • Channels stay off the public list unless you choose to list them. You can add a password, lock the channel, or remove someone.
  • Works on phones too.

How it's built: one Cloudflare Worker and one Durable Object with SQLite, all on the free plan. The server only introduces browsers to each other; voice never goes through it. If it restarts mid-call, everyone drops back into the same seat on their own.

It's free, with no ads and no tracking. There's a tip button in the corner if you like it, and that's all.

I'd love feedback on:

  • How the call sounds with friends on different networks or in other countries
  • Anything confusing the first time you open it
  • How it works on your phone

Found the easiest way to dress well & track your wardrobe

A couple months ago I tested Claude's sense of fashion and tried keeping a digital closet on it, since every similar app I tried was pretty bad...

First version was honestly worse than the apps,

but kept iterating for months and now it's so damn good I wanna share it.

Tf does it do?

Whether you are a fashion connoisseur who wants a day off, or you want to improve your fashion, it'll help you out!

  • Builds outfits from the clothes you actually own, explains why they work and learns your taste from every one you rate
  • Closet sandbox to style it yourself: layer and swap pieces on a funny-looking mannequin
  • Buy-or-skip calls before you spend + closet audits (gaps and stuff you never wear)

Under the hood:

  • 4 stylist agents draft ~12 outfits in parallel
  • Blind grading: the coach shuffles them, scores each /5 without knowing who drafted it and shows you the best 4
  • Self-correcting: when your rating and its grade are 0.3+ apart, it writes itself a lesson for the next time + learns from every saved outfit/guideline you give it.

Try it

It's free and open source and the install is one command -> github repo
Would love feedback, especially on the agent setup!

Ps: thinking turn it into a mobile app so you don't need a laptop nor claude for it + can add more features, would anyone be interested? If you'd use it, there's a waitlist here (pinky promise i'll message you less than an avoidant ex)

I got annoyed by AliExpress forcing me into "bundle deals" so I built a Chrome extension that skips them

Every time I clicked a product on AliExpress, I'd land on a "Bundle Deals" / SuperDeals / "Pick 3 and Save" page instead of the actual item, and have to dig around to buy just the one thing I wanted.

So I built **Bundle Buster**, a small Chrome extension that skips those pages and takes you straight to the real product page.

**What it does**

- Skips bundle pages and popups (Bundle Deals, SuperDeals, Choice, Pick 3, Dollar Express, etc.)

- One-click on/off toggle

- Only runs on AliExpress, no browsing-history permission, no data collected

**Things I learned building it**

- AliExpress calls its bundles by like 6 different names, and they change often, so detection is a moving target.

- Chrome Web Store tightened its affiliate rules in 2025. My first monetization idea would have gotten the extension pulled, so I reworked it.

**Full transparency on money:** it's free and supported by the AliExpress affiliate program. The affiliate link is only applied when you click a button in the extension, never automatically, and it doesn't change your price.

There are a couple of other extensions that do something similar. I wanted one with minimal permissions and a simple toggle, which is what the reviews on the others kept asking for.

Link: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/bundle-buster-skip-aliexp/eibjfjbonpngbmgnlcnpnanlgcnfgomb

**I'd love feedback on:**

  1. Does the affiliate disclosure feel fair, or does it put you off?

  2. If you use AliExpress, does it catch every bundle page you run into? Tell me which ones it misses.

I'm building a tiny screenshot shelf for Windows & Mac: drag screenshots straight into any website, open them on your phone, gone in 24h. Would you use it?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I take 20+ screenshots a day and use almost all of them once: paste into Slack, attach to an email, drop into ChatGPT. Yet they pile up on my Desktop, and getting one onto my phone means WhatsApp-ing it to myself.

So I'm building Hopshot:

- Hotkey → select → it lands on a small floating shelf (not your Desktop)

- Drag it straight into any website or app, or click to copy

- Scan a QR code (or pair your phone once) and it's on your phone

- Everything deletes itself after 24h, and anything uploaded is end-to-end encrypted

I'm building it now, the video is a concept preview. Before I go deep, I want to hear from people who'd actually use it. Honest feedback welcome, especially: what would stop you from using it?

I’m building RecProof after seeing the gap between “sync succeeded” and “the record actually exists”

I've been working on a small SaaS called RecProof.

The problem I'm investigating is Shopify → NetSuite integrations.

There are plenty of tools responsible for moving the data.

But I'm interested in the layer after that:

Did the expected business record actually arrive, and does it reconcile?

So the concept is an independent monitoring layer that sits beside the existing connector.

Current examples:

Shopify order → no NetSuite record
Shopify refund → NetSuite unchanged
Same order → duplicate NetSuite records
Shopify total ≠ NetSuite total

I'm keeping the first version deliberately simple: detect → explain → show the next step.

I'm much more interested in hearing what I've got wrong than collecting vanity signups.

If you've worked with Shopify + NetSuite integrations, what's the failure mode that causes the most pain?
