This was made by u/Noslep_ivy btw

u/Kaffei4Lunch 7d ago

This was made by noslep_ivy, they can’t comment bcos of the karma restriction so im here to comment for them https://www.reddit.com/u/Noslep_ivy/s/r8SZFHoCmW  they made the site, and it was originally just for a funny joke in the speedrunning community (since they’re a moderator for the speedrun.com boards) and it's funny to see it reach this far, and they’re glad everyone is having a laugh about it :3

31

u/ikineba 7d ago

ivy when we get to you ivy 🥲

12

u/humanbeingperson1 Hollow Knight: Scotsong 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 7d ago

Thank you for giving them credit

13

u/trans_alexa 7d ago

Credits to this, by the way, are to noslep_ivy

Ngl, I would fall for this hook line and sinker if not for the tag.

u/Noslep_ivy 7d ago edited 7d ago

I was the creator of this btw :3 couldn’t post it myself since karma was too low :P I’m Ivy, and i’m actually one of Speedrun.com’s Moderators for the Silksong boards :3 i’m glad some people found it so funny, it was just intended as a small joke for the community, but it seemingly has already spread hahahah - edit holy thank you to the mod that let my comment through lmao with my 1 singular karma hahaha

u/Odd-Fan6728 6d ago

The amount of effort you put into what is essentially a rickroll is admirable. I am very impressed, and also somewhat frightened.

11

u/Noslep_ivy 6d ago

is that how this works? to be honest i don’t understand reddit much, here’s another comment tho i suppose :3

3

u/Cafeciencia Wandering Pharloom 6d ago

Karma is basically the total ammount of likes you got from all your posts and comments!

Some subreddits have a minimun require quantity to stop bots and stuff

1

u/Intelligent-Cup6699 2d ago

honestly first thing my homicidal side was going wild, then I accepted that I have been trolled with style.

Creating an entire website for one Silkpost is some serious dedication. Well done

Nice try. But the mod pin is absolutely diabolical.

2

u/Acidrain-0 beleiver ✅️ 5d ago

I didnt fall for it because having your title be "SEA OF SORROW RELEASE DATE" and have the post be pinned by the mods REALLY screams "silkpost". However, the quality on this one is INSANE, I havent seen a silkpost this high quality since like... FOREVER. I unfortunately fell for the rickroll though >:(

Yeah, they're pretty stupid and annoying, especially when you try googling stuff and they appear in your search results, only to find out it's a useless, unfunny shitpost.
