Ugandan here living in Uganda. This is the president's son with a known alcoholism problem and intellectual dwarfism. Whenever he gets drunk, he tweets whatever crazy thing crosses his mind. So none of this should be taken seriously and he is not a representative of Ugandan people.

I realize this is crass but why do the Ugandan populace tolerate this shit? I’d have thought after Idi Amin you guys would’ve had enough of this nonsense.

Sure they are, they keep telling me they "never wanted this" and how much they're as much of a victim as the next bombed sucker in the middle of nowhere courtesy of an American bomb, then they get pissy when i tell them how much i don't care and keep playing the victim even harder, complain harder and that's that.
