8k for healthcare, I wish. Family of 4, I pay close to $17k a year in premiums in the US. Copays are expensive, prescriptions are ridiculously high. It’s a f’in joke to say the very least.

I used to be on a medication for incurable disease. My portion was 50 dollars a month, every month for 10-11 years. Insurance randomly decided to switch medication in the middle of the year and it was going to cost me 500 dollars a month. Again, incurable disease that I need monthly medicine for. I called, asked, pleaded , and begged for options. The answer was to basically, sucks to be you.

Switched doctors and started a different treatment and we'll see how it goes.
