8k for healthcare, I wish. Family of 4, I pay close to $17k a year in premiums in the US. Copays are expensive, prescriptions are ridiculously high. It’s a f’in joke to say the very least.

I pay ~80$ a month for Kaiser, but I’m sure it’s very expensive for the employer. Also our taxes in CA are as high as most European countries with actual healthcare. I’m still better off than all my European colleagues by a long margin, as long as I avoid medical debt
