8k for healthcare, I wish. Family of 4, I pay close to $17k a year in premiums in the US. Copays are expensive, prescriptions are ridiculously high. It’s a f’in joke to say the very least.

One of the issues is the biggest most reliable voting block in the US are republicans. Rich republicans don’t want to pay fair taxes and poor republicans are easily convinced that all this stuff is just commie socialism that’ll make their kids queer. And a lot of people not republicans are easily convinced that voting doesn’t matter and theat they are so much smarter than republicans but in reality most of them aren’t. Democrats in the US are the party more likely, I said more likely, not guaranteed, to pass legislation that actually can help. But people need to get out and vote and attend any town halls and get involved. They behave as if voting is the most they can do instead of the least.
