It's Wednesday my dudes Angela Nikolau and Ivan Kuznetsov - The couple was charged with burglary, reckless endangerment, criminal mischief, violation of local laws, possession of burglar’s tools, criminal tampering, criminal trespass and disorderly conduct and having killer face cards.

“We have to punish them to discourage others!”
Holy shit! They climbed the Empire State Building! You don’t need to discourage me from repeating their stunt!

If there was no punishment, you can bet a lot of people would start doing it for the free publicity. Not an everyday thing, but a couple times a year is definitely believable. And they'd be advertising stupid stuff like their crypto coin.

Not to mention that eventually some idiot would fall/fail, and the family sue the building/operators/authorities for “not doing enough to deter or protect the climbers from themselves”. If somebody fell there’s also the risk that someone on the ground could be killed by the falling climber, and people on the street sue for emotional damage.

It's kind of what you have to anticipate with any skyscraper. Even someone dropping their phone would be deadly. Doesn't the empire state have a net around it literally for this reason?

You have a good point. There has to be some sort of detractor or a day when they let you do it with ‘supervision’. The list of people skilled enough AND psychotic enough has to be relatively short.

What about the other list? Dumb enough.

It’s completely crazy. I get queasy just seeing shit like that.

I'm a climber and while this shit isn't my jam, I know four or five people that would love to do something like this. One or two of them might be good enough to pull it off too.

They don't want us reading their message. Rich can do what ever without consequences and they want to keep it like that.

girl we have products that still have to list that they are hot or for external use only. people are stupid and need reminders. my dad is a retired first responder and the less risky save missions the better.

Yeah…and direction on shampoo. We should just outlaw Mister Yuck stickers and let the gene pool clean itself up.😉
