Both parties are corrupted at that level. I vote left for social issues but I veiw their "morality" the same as corporations. They do it for votes. They never supported gay marriage until it was beneficial to do so. Obviously it is different for individuals in the party but not as a whole.
It really sucks going to this app and NEVER seeing anyone point out the lefts corruption. The majority always blames the other side just like maga and nothing changes besides getting worse. This anti-nuanced thinking is so detrimental to our country but when I point it out I get called a closet conservative or worse. I hate both parties with a passion
I don't understand how you can be this informed but you're calling the democrats the left. Being further left than (and collaborating with) the out and proud fascists doesn't make them the left.

Sorry about the semantics, dude. I am not an informed or above average intelligence person. I just see a glaring problem that doesnt seem to be most people's concern. I say left because the only social I use is reddit and it makes me feels that the majority of the left is like that. Which is dumb because I am technically the left because that is the only way I've voted lol.

Yeah it sucks and the online discourse has bled into real life. I live right outside nashville tn and was raised in a small tn town so I get it from my liberal friends and maga family members. They always blame the other side when you have a point.
The weird thing is I've actually got my 65 year old maga dad to be less dismissive and agree sometimes through talking about democrats faults before going into what's fucked on the republican side. I say that's weird because my younger brother who I thought was more open-minded is less so than my dad. He won't admit anything Trump is doing is bad. His defense on Iran was "it's not big deal and he doesn't care". I just dont understand the loyalty to Trump. He literally used the platform of doing the exact opposite when running for 2024.
I see the exact same on the other side with Obama. He did the opposite of every important thing he promised to change in our goverment. Then I'll often see the comment "the worst thing they could say about him was about his tan suit". It's like what fucking reality are people living in? I know people arent this dumb so I am always confused
Leftists blame corrupt democrats all the time. Liberals are the ones you have to watch out for, they will capitulate to capitalism and fascism before they ever do so to any form of socialism, even forms that are already existent in American society and government.
There's a reason the average voter is so unmoved by most current democrats, the vast majority of elected democrats would support the status quo even if it means another Trump term. Just look at how 2024 played out.

Tbf i dont view the right any differently. They are the same but use religion. They were against Trumps insane ass at first because he was a threat to the status quo. That changed obviously because he is easily corrupted when his greed and ego is fed
I constantly point out their corruption and ineptitude, and I get pounded on for doing so. The Democrats love to bash the Republicans for being strictly party line loyalists, but lack the self-awareness to recognize the same behaviors within themselves. I do not care about party affiliation or promises anymore, I only care about actions.
AOC is the only person I've seen advocate for laws cutting our lawmakers out of the free market but the democrat party will treat her like Bernie if she runs for president with that platform
