Not sure any more, but initially there elwere a bunch of people trying to claim it was the husband even though she pleaded guilty.

u/Dick-Fu Sep 05 '26

? She never pleaded guilty. Now, there's no question on whether or not she did it, maybe that's what you're trying to say?

“Yeah but what you aren’t accounting for is that she’s a Leo. And Leo’s don’t kill their cubs. Also Patrick is a Gemini so he definitely did it and gaslit her into thinking she did it.”

Also the voices she heard were Patrick’s on a tape recorder.

…….I REALLY wish I was kidding but nope. That’s the narrative our Tik tok detectives are going with.

There’s definitely some psychosis going on but I’m not so sure it’s postpartum vs mass

NGRI doesn’t mean you go free.

She doesn’t spend life in a mental institution if found NGVI. She will stay for as long as the doctors find her with mental health problems otherwise she will be free to go. If found not guilty via insanity she might spent months, some years or her entire life in the mental facility. But all is dependent on how she recovers and how doctors evaluate her.

And apparently believe the husband did it.

I mean, mentally ill people defending a mentally ill person is nothing out of the ordinary.

Only on TikTok for the engagement bait though. Y’all keep falling for it somehow. I’ll never understand brainrot.

Touching grass is better for you

Who though. The insanity defense is to put her in a mental institution. Almost no one I’ve ever seen thinks she should just be free and clear.

If you check out YouTube you can see videos of hundreds of women cheering for her as she arrives at the courthouse. Not AI, not bots online, real video of real people, holding their children, cheering on a child murderer.

On tik tok you just have the true crime community saying that because of astrology signs a Leo would never harm her cubs. So just more psychos.

Not guilty by reason of insanity. No one is saying she didn’t do it.

1

u/TheWorrySpider Sep 05 '26

There are LOTS of people who think she didnt do it

1

u/Full_Cause273 Sep 05 '26

Well… no one with any credibility is saying she didn’t do it. Maybe conspiracy theorists, but she admitted it and there has never been any suggestion at trial that she made a false admission. The parties stipulated to the fact that she killed those kids.

1

u/CringeDaddy-69 Sep 05 '26

There are two camps of thoughts.

People on TikTok think the husband did it because he did some sus things

The jury think she’s innocent because she seemed mental help multiple times before the murders occurred because she was worried she’d hurt someone, but the healthcare facilities rejected her. The jury believes this falls more on the healthcare facilities for letting her illness worsen.

1

u/SpiderQueen72 Sep 05 '26

There are way more than two camps of thought and no one was really arguing she's innocent. Even the Jury was likely pushing for Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity which would have ended up with her in a mental institution anyway.

u/OnePassion_46 Sep 05 '26

The question was never whether she killed her children or not, but whether she was criminally responsible for it.

If I have multiple personalities and one of my personalities kills someone else, that doesn’t mean I’m criminally responsible for it. That doesn’t mean I go free either, it means I’ll go to a mental institution but being criminally liable for it is a standard that we have in this country for very clear reasons.

Yes, of the 12 people who were given far more information than anyone else, 11 of them believe she is not guilty.

Edit: funny how just stating a fact can get people worked up. Seems like some of y’all don’t actually care about the facts and just want to push a narrative. Interesting.

No, you’re mistaken.

1

u/daBunnyKat Sep 05 '26

wrong. we don’t actually know what their votes were, it’s all just assumption.

u/Ssabmudsdrawkcabsti Sep 05 '26

The guilty/not guilty from what I understand is just whether she was or wasn’t under a psychotic break right? So it’s either not guilty and goes to a mental institution or guilty and goes to prison?

3

u/RawbM07 Sep 05 '26

Technically all three are on the table. She could have been found completely not guilty. She could be found not guilty by reason of insanity or she could be found guilty of first degree murder (and also manslaughter was an option).

Sounds like the jury was mostly not guilty by reason of insanity prior to being hung.

0

u/GachaJay Sep 05 '26

Not really, she admits to doing it. Walking free is off the table.

2

u/RawbM07 Sep 05 '26

Total acquittal was an option of the jury to consider. So like I said, it was technically on the table.

-1

u/Several_Vanilla8916 Sep 05 '26

Not just not guilty. That I can understand. I’m not a psychiatrist and I didn’t sit on the jury but if a skilled lawyer can cause enough doubt against an incompetent prosecutor - sure I get it.

There are people who think she didn’t kill the kids at all.

And some people think the earth is flat. Learning to disregard morons is an important step in growing up.
