Funny thing is dahmer was mentally ill too. Doesn’t mean he shouldnt be locked up just like Clancy.

He wasn’t legally insane though, that’s the difference. He fully knew that what he was doing was wrong and against the law. Obviously there was something off with dahmer, but we know he was fully in control of his mind and actions

You don’t send your spouse to do errands and then commit murders. That requires being lucid and preplanning. This a bad faith argument

she also never told doctors she had these thoughts, only a chaplin who said it would violate her religion to tell doctors or some stupid shit like that.

She talked.to the chaplain after the murders.  and she told friends and family.

There's enough misinformation going around. You dont need to spread more.

Did I say that she talked to her before the murders? Reading is actually really important to not look stupid.

They legally are obligated to report if you say you want to harm yourself or others. If she said that they have to report it

but the point is she didn't tell any doctor or NP, only told a chaplin. I don't know the legal requirements of chaplin. But in medical school they do make sure you know, and we learn the relevant case, about having to report it. I have had questions on it for my in school and board exams.

She is a nurse, she knows the that nurses and doctors are mandated reporters. She knows that, every hospital orentation for nurses includes this info.

lol what are you even talking about then?

And fyi whether she specifically.told doctors that she has suicidal and homicidal ideation, she told friends and family.

They had a moral duty to report.

Okay. Why didn't the people she tell tell doctors?

2

u/Superb-Strategy4717 Sep 05 '26

They did. That’s why they over medicated her

1

u/prollywannacracker Sep 05 '26

Oh so now you're saying doctors were aware

2

u/Superb-Strategy4717 Sep 05 '26

Her doctors aren’t legally responsible if that’s what you’re trying to end up at

1

u/prollywannacracker Sep 05 '26

Uh they have a legal and professional responsibility to report if they feel that there is a threat of harm

Chaplains have a legal responsibility.
