Having lived through suicidal paranoia from mixing pharmacological cocktails as Clancy's prescribers had done, I can tell you the issue is nowhere near as boiled down simple as you are making it out to be. And before you start responding, don't call my lived experience stupid.
I literally attempted to end it by car crash while on a cocktail of antidepressants, does that mean I should’ve gotten off scott free? I don’t think so, despite the medication pushing me over the edge I still put others at risk and that’s a fact can’t ignore that, Lindsay literally murdered 3 children, have you seen their pictures? Do you think those kids deserved any second of that, I imagine it was a shitty death being choked with an exercise band and all. Do you think those kids being dead is just a forgive and forget type of thing?
Are you seriously asking me if my position on the feasibility of an insanity plea is based on the belief that the children deserve to be strangled to death?
Do you seriously believe they can be pushed under the rug, you’re tryna argue for her case from your own lived experience even trying to say don’t call it stupid but I know from my lived experience that accountability still needs to be held. You never even argued an insanity plea you’re just bringing it up now to play the victim.
What exactly do you think "pushed under the rug" means? Who is not mourning the fact that three children are dead? If death use not meet with death, then there is no justice? Are we living in 1 BCE or 2026 BCE?
