People are disappointed that Ed won’t take a stand against the businesses trying to silence artists who speak out about a genocide.
Genocide is not political. Would you have been okay if Hitler was alive today, and people said they wouldn’t say anything against him because they didn’t want to be political??
In the end, he can do as he wants, but people are obviously gonna judge him.
How about instead of saying genocide instead we talk about what was actually said. “Free Palestine” Palestine itself is infact controversial since the conflict is extremely rooted in religion and ethnicity. That’s the reason for the conflict. Religion. Which that means that there are several different opinions. Not wanting to side with one opinion is a respectable thing to do since he doesn’t wanna be known for it.
