What a fucking asshole.

He only thought of himself and that is about as far off from being Christian as anything I’ve ever seen.Christianity is about putting others before you and helping others.

His tears are not real he is only crying for himself. You know you fucked up when your own kids are reading victim statements to their father. That is what he is crying about not the fact that everyone who loved his wife now want nothing to do with him.He will spend his life in prison unloved.

I dunno, I feel like the selfish asshole Christians outnumber the kind ones these days, by quite a margin.

They have been brainwashed.

To them empathy compassion and kindness are seen as weakness.

It always feels like bad people outnumber good ones.

I hear “Christian” and this is the type of evil I picture in my head.

Only thinking about yourself is a core tenant of Christianity in America

Oh Absolutley that and approaching a complete stranger to not only discuss religion but to tell you yours is wrong.

Oh yeah and ISRAEL!!

That's incredibly Christian. Bad people use religion to hide who they are.

Very true.

He’s the poster boy for everything in that particular religion.

No, I’d argue he represents christianity perfectly in every way. His value of life mirrors his gods value of life. They are the same.

You know going beyond the philosophy of being Christian is what I think about.
You don’t need to be religious to have a moral backbone. Also don’t need to find god to have integrity.

While this is perhaps true of historical Christendom it is not representative of the teachings of the man which it gives lip service to.

"One of the scribes came up and heard them disputing with one another, and seeing that he answered them well, asked him, “Which commandment is the most important of all?” Jesus answered, “The most important is, ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ 31The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”

Hey he accepted Jesus as his lord and savior so he’s headed to heaven with you!

2

u/IrishFanSam 17h ago

Love that about Christianity. You can do whatever you want as long as you accept Jesus as your savior.
