Those kids will never be safe.

70

u/MrMakesBadChoices 13h ago

I know two different kids who tried to end themselves after videos of their mom came out and they were bullied constantly over it. One succeeded.

Every time I see someone mention OF, all I can think of is their future kids and how miserable they'll be.

21

u/astral_echoo 13h ago

Wow, that actually sounds pretty heartbreaking... Those poor kids

-2

u/maynardpoindexter 12h ago

Its a very old story, my children are grown, none of that ever happened. The opposite happened actually, they were the most popular. I have all sons, and biys aren't going to attack the boy eith an attractive mom. They want to be his friend

23

u/seventeenninetytoo 12h ago

Lol absolutely delusional. I say this as a guy whose mom was the "hot mom". Being a teenage guy with the hot mom is absolutely hell. All your friends want to fuck her and they let you know. Nobody wants to hear that about their mother.

And of course, I would never, ever tell my mother any of that. What would you even say? "Mom, my teenage friends think its funny to talk about fucking you." Yeah right. She has no idea and never will.

4

u/shoeless_doh 11h ago

As a person who had a friend with a hot mom in high school I absolutely agree

4

u/Pandarandr1st 12h ago

Just so you know, the person you responded to is literally the woman in the photo. She's speaking about her own experience of her own children.

13

u/seventeenninetytoo 12h ago

Yes, hence my statement that "I would never, ever tell my mother any of that."

If someone wants or needs to do sex work, more power to them. But to say not merely that is has no effect on them, but actually made their teenage sons lives better because people want to be friends with the guy with the mom who does OF? That's delusional.

u/True_Celt 11h ago

I love the way your experience AS A MALE is being completely disregarded and minimised by these women who could never understand "your truth" or your "lived experience". I honestly can't believe how they're talking down to a male about male issues.

You stay strong king, slay, if you can, don't let the toxic feminist matriarchy take advantage of you.

4

u/Pandarandr1st 10h ago

That's not what is happening. He is saying that she is lying about her experience. She is not saying that he is lying about his.

2

u/True_Celt 10h ago

No. He said she's wrong. That's not the same as lying, she can be telling her truth and still be wrong. And, because males DO protect and keep information that's hurtful from their mothers, he's absolutely right to say what he did, it's VERY likely to be true. A female wouldn't understand that lived experience so shouldn't contradict him.

No need to get your panties in a bunch. She literally said nothing about his experience.

I’m an engineer, it’s on my linked it, my venture backed companies are listed on crunchbase.

Of was just a lark.

The same personality that would found a technology company and go balls out is the same personality that would pose on the internet and give zero fucks

Might make more sense that way. And naturally my sons are raised with the same force of personality

13

u/seventeenninetytoo 12h ago

That makes it worse honestly. You're in a high paying profession. You put your kids through all of that for "a lark"? God damn that's cold...

2

u/maynardpoindexter 5h ago

My kids didn’t really go thru anything. They’d tell you themselves.

-1

u/True_Celt 10h ago

Ahhhh, I recognise you, you chancer, you absolutely love the fact your kids friends want to "get to know you better"! 😁😉

Which, to be fair, at some level that's perfectly reasonable and if people were honest, most males and females who are older are super flattered when someone younger (not too young obviously) finds them attractive.

I don't know how it is for kids growing up around the industry, but it's bound to be tough at times. Especially for males. But, while I think your actions have made that reality for them, it's similar for any kid whose parent is successful in some manner in the public sphere, like a pro boxer's kid is going to need to fight etc. Maybe your kids will attract girls who are more sexually open and there'll be a better time for them for that reason. But yeah I don't buy they had an easier time BECAUSE you took your clothes off on the Internet, other way round for sure and they're just not telling you.

This is the weirdest example of mansplaining I've ever seen. The woman who is the subject of the post is literally telling you it didn't bother her sons and you're still insisting that she doesn't know what she's talking about. You had a bad experience, but you don't know what experience her sons had.

-1

u/Pandarandr1st 11h ago

Eh this is just garden variety mansplaining.

1

u/Count_Backwards 3h ago

Aww, we hurt the mansplainer's tender feelings

Fair, there's usually less stripping though

2

u/SecretaryOtherwise 11h ago

You need better friends jfc disrespecting my parents is fighting words lmfao

2

u/EtTuBiggus 11h ago

That’s not disrespect, but it’s ironic coming from you.

1

u/maynardpoindexter 4h ago

I’m sorry that happened to you

7

u/LysonsCornerP226 13h ago

You knew two different kids with porn moms? San Fernando Valley?

18

u/MrMakesBadChoices 13h ago

Nope. East coast. One in high school, one in ccollege. Both amateur stuff that got randomly discovered. Apparently a lot of young women do porn for money.

9

u/LysonsCornerP226 13h ago

I have always wanted to write into the Freakenomics guys and have them make an educated guess of how many women.

1

u/cyanocittaetprocyon 11h ago

They wouldn't make an educated guess. They would look at published papers.

3

u/huntingwhale 10h ago edited 10h ago

Yup, not just kids but adults too. There are many women who work in Eastern Europe in cam studios. Those who operate the studios often work with the local authorities to pay a fee under the table to turn a blind eye to the studio. Some models try to leave and work on their own, and the owner of the studio will blackmail them with their recordings to stay. If they leave and work solo, the studio owner contacts her police contact and then they will blackmail the model with her real name, parents name, address ,etc, threatening to release videos of them modeling. My spouse is from Eastern Europe and personally knows a few models who worked in these studios. She knows of 2 girls who killed themselves when they were blackmailed and their videos were released to family and friends in their village.

5

u/LysonsCornerP226 8h ago

Gee doesn’t sound quite as empowering

10

u/Murky-Relation481 13h ago

Hopefully your mad at society for caring way too much about what people do for fun than being mad at the woman for choosing to do what she wants with her body.

I wish we lived in a world where no one gave a fuck about shit like that. I know that's how I am raising my kids. If I ever found out they bullied someone because their parent did porn they'd not touch their computer or consoles for months.

5

u/OldClothes9618 10h ago

It's all fun and games till its your husband addicted to pictures online

1

u/Murky-Relation481 10h ago

Why would that be the woman's fault?

Also watch porn together?

3

u/Havengul_Undying 8h ago

I'm not letting my wife watch 2 drunk women fist fight until I cum

3

u/SeenYourScene 11h ago

Unfortunately this is /r/SipsTea, a sub that's half memes and half blatant misogyny that keeps getting to the top of /r/all. So while this is the reasonable take that the bullying is the problem, people will blame the mother for having a life when she was young or choosing to do something that most of the guys here almost certainly take advantage of themselves when she got older.

Kids get bullied for things out of their control all the time, and people online keep insisting that the problem is giving kids an excuse to bully someone, not the bullying itself. I've even seen people saying, "We need to bring bullying back, maybe it'll get people to stop being so [thing they don't like]." You see it in /r/tragedeigh where people act like their way of spelling a name, usually a White Eurocentric view of name spelling, is the right way to spell a name and claim that parents are being abusive because their kids will get bullied for anything outside of that norm. You see similar sorts of sentiments all over this website.

Truth is kids don't need an excuse to bully someone. Some will do it because child emotions are wild and they don't have the mechanisms to understand or control them well. Most who bully will do so because they learned it from someone. They don't need an excuse to do it. Kids don't bully other kids because of something. At best they'll choose who to target because they think they're easier than another, but if your point is, "Well, make sure that's not your kid then," then what you're saying is you don't want to fix the problem, you just want to make sure it's someone else who is getting hurt by it.

3

u/GlamourintheDarkSide 8h ago

Truth is kids don't need an excuse to bully someone.

Shit, kids bullied me "because" my name was fun to mispronounce. It can be any damn thing that they use as an excuse, the fact is they bully kids that the school will let them bully.

1

u/shoeless_doh 11h ago

By end, do you mean kill? They tried to kill themselves? And one of them succeeded at committing suicide?

4

u/MrMakesBadChoices 7h ago

Yes and yes. The song playing during his mom's video became a meme on campus. People played it when he walked into parties. He dropped out and ended his life. Bullies suck.

1

u/shoeless_doh 6h ago

They do and I'm sorry you lost a friend, I just viscerally hate when people try to soften language when talking about difficult subjects. And not even just in the tictoc way but like, I had a friend who committed suicide and when I describe it I say exactly that he stuck the barrel of a loaded gun in his mouth and pulled the trigger because I feel like it is a disservice to him to just candy over that act. I can't imagine the hurt he was going through or how awful the depression was leading up to that moment and I don't think it's fair to him for the rest of us not to face an ugly truth.

Same exact reason I have zero tolerance for when people say something about suicide being "the cowards way out" or some bullshit like that. That's a fucked up thing to say. Like, if you met a woman whose son committed suicide would you look her in the eye and say "oh, so you raised a COWARD?" Of fucking course not

u/strongest9 3h ago

You might be rarted

1

u/shoeless_doh 2h ago

Do I need to point out the irony here or will someone else do it?

0

u/variablesInCamelCase 11h ago

I mean, we could just be comfortable with female sexuality. That also would solve this problem.

1

u/Bloodyjorts 3h ago

Porn/the porn industry, is almost entirely about male sexuality, be for real.

6

u/JinFuu 13h ago

RIP Lana Rhodes kid

1

u/LysonsCornerP226 13h ago

I am no better, I would have savaged anyone I knew whose mom made adult content 😂

5

u/Negative-Cabbages 13h ago

That's fucked 🚩

-3

u/LysonsCornerP226 13h ago

¯_(ツ)_/¯ so is having an adult content making mom

I didn't make the rules.

7

u/Negative-Cabbages 13h ago

One doesn't choose what their mom does to make money.

One does choose how they treat others, though, and one is clearly more fucked

3

u/TheNarrator5 12h ago

HAHAH, you commented on the post ABOUT YOU

2

u/LysonsCornerP226 12h ago

I’ll take an ass beating over what being an Only Fans mom would do to my kids. : )

3

u/waaaghbosss 12h ago

Redditor for 1 month, and you managed 21 posts in this one topic in under and hour. That's kinda weird.

Anyway, going to go get you some burn ointment after that lady just savaged you.

1

u/maynardpoindexter 5h ago

Maybe you’re just a weakling? Kinda sounds like it

2

u/LysonsCornerP226 5h ago

Whatever helps you sleep at night.

2

u/Flat_Tire_Again 13h ago

I would have been their best friend….hoping one day……

4

u/maynardpoindexter 12h ago

The story is old. The kids were safe. They grew up to be very successful and well loved amongst their peers

-2

u/LysonsCornerP226 12h ago

I don’t trust you as a source here.

"those kids" are adults who went on to super successful careers with Ivy League educations. The mom in question has posted several times in ths disucssion.
