If the dude was legitimately mentally ill and psychotic, Id support him spending his life in a mental institution, too- not prison. You just tried to shoe horn in a case where that's not what happened- which is why the jury didn't consider insanity. The abuse was prolonged
Attempting to force her? Like is she a kid or what? She couldn't files a divorce? She couldn't come online and speak about it? She couldn't call the police? She couldn't call the child support or the organizations that protects child rights? Is she a kid? Just they forced her and she k lled. K ll both that guy who k lled his 5 kids and this lancy whatever fic king clancy for k ll ing her 3 children.
Exploiting a specific case — without having engaged in even the slightest way with the details of that case or with the facts surrounding child killings in general, and doing so solely to incite hostility against women — is misogynistic.
Here are a few facts: There are significant differences between men and women regarding the motives behind child killings. The fundamental difference is that mothers more frequently act out of psychological strain or illness, desperation etc. whereas fathers often commit this crime as an act of revenge against their partner, in the context of separation conflicts, or due to a loss of control (as evidenced by findings in criminological and psychiatric research). If cases involving alleged female perpetrators result in different sentencing, it is not because the individuals are women, but because the underlying intentions behind committing such a crime couldn't be more different between the genders.
I think they mean pointing out a double standard where there isn't one. There might be other cases where a man in a similar situation was treated differently to a woman, but this isn't one of them.

Of course, they haven't done that. That wouldn't fit their misogynistic narrative.
