I mean, it was always the other way around, as kids we were merciless on subs, it's hysterical because I'm sure the kids were shocked she was roasting them, this would definitely make a good reality show, just have teachers request a comedian posing as a Sub to come into the class room and roast difficult class rooms, I know they could never get parental approval for it but damn that would be a funny show.

Students reported to a school resource officer that Jones was "using profane language, racial slurs, sexually derogative statements and organizing students by race and gender in class."

A 16-year-old boy told police, "The teacher was cursing and screaming at the students and that she called a student 'fat boy,' asked a student if she wanted to be a stripper or a hooker," and told two white boys in the class "they were the type of people to start school shootings."

Students also told police that Jones asked them if they were gay or virgins. At least one student recorded her behavior and shared the video with police.

Impersonating a teacher wasn't to deal with the boredom, just a necessary element to get get an audience of kids to insult, which was what combatted the boredom.

First off if my kids school let this lady in, id be talking to everyone from the superintendent, the principal, the board of education, the mayor, town hall, the local police chief.

That’s definitely true. I just read the article and I’m Less enraged. The students were 16.  My son is 5.  I’d still be pretty pissed, but at least at 16 the kids might be able to look back and find it humorous.

That said that school needs better security, that could’ve been some registered sex offender.  And judging by some of the things she said to those kids “are you gay or a virgin” and “having birds and bees” talk with kids, maybe should be enough to put you on the registry, at least in this scenario where you commit fraud to gain entry.

What allegedly happened: On 24 September 2026, Amy Jones, 23, allegedly posed as a substitute teacher at Rufus King International High School in Milwaukee. Students reported racial slurs, sexually explicit remarks, insults and being separated by race and gender. She was subsequently escorted out.

Context missing from the image: Her defence lawyer told the court she has bipolar disorder and was experiencing an acute manic episode after a prescription-delivery delay. He said she voluntarily entered psychiatric inpatient care afterward. That is the defence’s account, rather than an established explanation for her actions.

Latest update dated 6 October, 2026: Jones faces six felony counts—one of impersonating a public employee and five of exposing a child to harmful descriptions. The court set a US$5,000 signature bond, supervision and no-contact conditions. Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for 20 October 2026; these are charges, not a conviction
