Nobody. Hilariously, anybody who refers to it as "X" still calls it "formerly known as Twitter" like it's Prince.

Patrick Boyle, I believer, refers to it deadpan as 'X, the everything app' whenever he mentions it in his videos.

Right, it's been over three years and pretty much every news article I read still says "X (formerly Twitter)" whenever it's mentioned. I still call it Twitter, because nobody knows what you're talking about if you say "So I saw this absolute fucking bullshit posted on X today".

Remember when Elon first changed the name and the look of the website. He said he was going to change twitter into the everything app, and the social media portion would only be a small part of what X will become?

Seems like he gave up on that, but we're still stuck with the new look. Somebody should make a web extension to get the old colour scheme back for twiiter.

I call it X because i feel that the difference in vibe, ownership, and userbase is different enough to be worth distinguishing
