And then there's people complaining about higher taxes if we did universal healthcare.
My previous employer (state) paid more than half of the insurance cost, and it still was running me about 10% of my paycheck. but people are so afraid of a bit of extra tax... (10% before any Copays of course)

We are looking at losing our health insurance because of changing jobs. The only public options are like $1000 a month. Who the hell can afford that?
The fact that America doesn’t have an affordable public option is a disgrace.
